- 經過長達十小時談判，中共與歐盟(新聞)終於就紡織品貿易爭端達成共識。昨天凌晨，中共商務部部長薄熙來與歐盟貿易談判委員曼德爾森發表共同聲明，部分大陸敏感紡織品出口歐洲的增幅不變；到二○○八年，歐盟將對大陸紡織品全面開放。[1]
- 全球最大汽車製造商通用汽車公司的工會正面臨艱困時刻，因為通用汽車公司宣布計畫裁員二萬五千人，並呼籲工會就若干急迫問題進行談判，否則整個集團的生存會有陷入危機之虞。[2]
