30 Second Change is an improv game played occasionally by the Ship of Fools and Purdue Improv Club during weekly meetings.

30 Second Change was learned as a scene development exercise by the Ship of Fools during a workshop with ComedySportz in Indianapolis, Indiana.

No special equipment is necessary.
[edit] Performers
This game is for a large number of participants, usually 8 or more.
[edit] Leaving the Room
This game does not involve anyone leaving the room.
[edit] Audience Suggestions
The audience will suggest a scene to start off the game, often this will come in the for of a location or a relationship between 2 people.
[edit] Rules
Two people will start the scene, the rule is that every 30 second one of the following must happen:
- Someone must enter the scene.
- Someone must exit the scene.
- The location of the scene must change.
These rules for the scen established to progress effectively.
