Narrator: "Donkey Kong was feeling grumpy. This was making Rabbit cross."
Rabbit: "Why are you complaining all the time?"
Donkey Kong: "Because I'm a big TV character and I know everything. I shall complain whenever I want. You're just a small TV character with ideas above your station."
Piglet: "I can't see any."
Narrator: "Said Piglet."
Piglet: "Where are they?"
Donkey Kong: "Any what?"
Piglet: "Ideas above the station. The sky's empty."
Rabbit: "Like your smokebox, Piglet."
Narrator: "Laughed Rabbit, but Donkey Kong was still grumpy."
Donkey Kong: "One day I'll show you just what a big TV character could really do."
Piglet: "So what can a big TV character really do?"
Donkey Kong: "Not speak to silly little TV characters for a start."
Narrator: "Replied Donkey Kong, and he puffed away. Later that day, Mr. Garrison came to see him."
Mr. Garrison: "Donkey Kong, you'll be making one stop today with an empty express to test our new station. You can make up time afterwards."
Donkey Kong: "Why can't Wallace do it? He likes idling at stations."
Mr. Garrison: "You will do as you are told."
Narrator: Came the blunt reply. So Donkey Kong did. But he was still unhappy and he grew sick, too."
Donkey Kong: "I just can't get up to speed."
Narrator: "He moaned."
Donkey Kong's Fireman: "It's time for your visit to the works. Your pipes are clogged."
Narrator: "Said The Fireman."
Narrator: "At last they approached the new station. Donkey Kong was impressed, but his mood soon changed. In front of him was a blank wall and huge buffers."
Donkey Kong: "What a boring view!
Narrator: "He grunted."
Donkey Kong: "Important TV characters like me should have a panoramic view where I could see people and people could see me."
Narrator: "And he wheeshed angrily. Donkey Kong was happy when it was time to leave."
Donkey Kong's Driver: "Now you really can enjoy your run, as long as your pipes will let you."
Narrator: "Said his Driver."
Donkey Kong: "Come on, come on! I can go faster than this."
Narrator: "Huffed Donkey Kong."
Donkey Kong: Sick? Me? Never!"
(Donkey Kong's pipes burst)
Narrator: "But Donkey Kong began to feel more and more feeble, and soon, he came to a complete stop!"
Donkey Kong: "What happened?"
Narrator: "He exclaimed. His Driver and Fireman inspected him."
Donkey Kong's Fireman: "Something's broken inside you Donkey Kong."
Narrator: "Said His Fireman."
Donkey Kong's Fireman: "Now, you really will have to go to the works."
Narrator: "Donkey Kong was still fuming when Rabbit arrived to collect his Wolves."
Rabbit: "Well, well, well. So much for knowing about everything. You got too puffed up in your head, so it serves you right."
Narrator: "When Donkey Kong returned from the Works a few weeks later, he was still boasting."
Donkey Kong: "I am the finest TV character in TV Land, probably the finest in the world."
Mr. Garrison: "Come on Donkey Kong, we're going to the official opening of the new station."
Narrator: "Then there was trouble, as Donkey Kong approached the new station, neither the Driver or Fireman could apply his brakes.
Something had jammed.
The Driver reduced steam, but Donkey Kong was still going too fast."
(Donkey Kong crashes through the wall)
Donkey Kong: Help me! Please!
(Mr. Garrison, Driver and Fireman see Donkey Kong on an exculator)
Mr. Garrison: "Well Donkey Kong."
Narrator: "Said Mr. Garrison."
Mr. Garrison: I knew you wanted a panoramic view, but this is not the way to achieve it."
Donkey Kong: "Yes Mr. Garrison, Sorry Mr. Garrison!"
Narrator: "Muttered Donkey Kong.
When Donkey Kong was repaired again, he took Mr. Garrison to the new station for it's Second official opening.
This time, he arrived safely, and everyone clapped and cheered as he pulled in. Mr. Garrison spoke to him."
Mr. Garrison: Your panoramic view is here to stay, I trust you will see through it, from the safety of your own road."
Narrator: "Donkey Kong heartily agreed."
