Narrator: "Sir Ector was feeling grumpy. This was making Donald Duck cross."
Donald Duck: "Why are you complaining all the time?"
Sir Ector: "Because I'm a big man and I know everything. I shall complain whenever I want. You're just a small duck with ideas above your station."
Piglet: "I can't see any."
Narrator: "Said Piglet."
Piglet: "Where are they?"
Sir Ector: "Any what?"
Piglet: "Ideas above the station. The sky's empty."
Donald Duck: "Like your head, Piglet."
Narrator: "Laughed Donald, but Sir Ector was still grumpy."
Sir Ector: "One day I'll show you just what a big man could really do."
Piglet: "So what can a big man really do?"
Sir Ector: "Not speak to silly little pink piglets for a start."
Narrator: "Replied Sir Ector, and he puffed away.
Later that day, Mickey Mouse came to see him."
Mickey Mouse: "Sir Ector, you'll be making one stop today with an empty express to test our new station. You can make up time afterwards."
Sir Ector: "Why can't Baloo do it? He likes idling at stations."
Mickey Mouse: "You will do as you are told!"
Narrator: "Came the blunt reply. So Sir Ector did.
But he was still unhappy and he grew sick too."
Sir Ector: "I just can't get up to speed."
Narrator: "He moaned."
Sir Ector's Fireman: "It's time for your visit to the works. Your body's clogged."
Narrator: "Said the fireman.
At last they approached the new station. Sir Ector was impressed, but his mood soon changed. In front of him was a blank wall and huge buffers."
Sir Ector: "What a boring view!"
Narrator: "He grunted."
Sir Ector: "Important Disney Characters like me should have a panoramic view where I could see people and people could see me."
Narrator: "And he kicked at the ground angrily. Sir Ector was happy when it was time to leave."
Sir Ector's Driver: "Now you really can enjoy your run, as long as your body will let you."
Narrator: "Said his driver."
Sir Ector: "Come on, come on! I can go faster than this."
Narrator: "Huffed Sir Ector."
Sir Ector: "Sick? Me? Never!"
Narrator: "But Sir Ector began to feel more and more feeble, and soon, he came to a complete stop!"
Sir Ector: "What happened?"
Narrator: "He exclaimed. His driver and fireman inspected him."
Sir Ector's Fireman: "Something's broken inside you, Sir Ector."
Narrator: "Said his fireman."
Sir Ector's Fireman: "Now, you really will have to go to the works."
Narrator: "Sir Ector was still fuming when Donald arrived to collect his flowers."
Donald Duck: "Well, well, well. So much for knowing about everything. You got too puffed up in your head, so it serves you right."
Narrator: "When Sir Ector returned from the works a few weeks later, he was still boasting."
Sir Ector: "I am the finest Disney Character in Disneyland, probably the finest in the world."
Mickey Mouse: "Come on Sir Ector, we're going to the official opening of the new station."
Narrator: "Then there was trouble, as Sir Ector approached the new station, neither the driver or fireman could stop him. Something had jammed. The driver reduced strength, but Sir Ector was still going too fast."
Sir Ector: "Help me! Please!"
(Mayor West, Driver and Fireman see Sir Ector on an exculator)
Mickey Mouse: "Well, Sir Ector."
Narrator: "Said Mickey."
Mickey Mouse: I knew you wanted a panoramic view, but this is not the way to achieve it."
Sir Ector: "Yes, sir. Sorry, sir."
Narrator: "Muttered Sir Ector.
When Sir Ector was heeled again, he took Mickey to the new station for its second official opening.
This time, he arrived safely, and everyone clapped and cheered as he pulled in.
Mickey spoke to him."
Mickey Mouse: "Your panoramic view is here to stay. I trust you will see through it from the safety of your own road."
Narrator: "Sir Ector heartily agreed."
