Transcript

  • Michael Brandon: Alex and The Birthday Mail. It was the stormy season on the Land of YTV. All the characters were battling against the bad weather. Alex was busy taking mail to a far part of the land. He really liked going up to High Farm. A little girl named Beth lived there. Beth and Alex were good friends. One day, Alex was on his way to High Farm when Janna stopped beside him. Janna was a girl from Star versus The Forces of Evil. She was always pleased to see Alex. She liked him so much that she tried to be just him. So she tried to copy him. She tried to walk the way he did. She even tried to whistle like Alex. It make Alex cross.
  • Janna: Hello, Alex.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Janna brightly.
  • Janna: What are you doing?
  • Alex: It's Beth's birthday.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Alex.
  • Alex: I want to get all her letters up in good time.
  • Michael Brandon: Just then, Launchpad arrived.
  • Launchpad: Another storm warning I'm afraid and heavy rain.
  • Michael Brandon: Launchpad warned Alex not to go up to High Farm.
  • Launchpad: Heavy rain could cause landslides on that hilly road.
  • Michael Brandon: And Launchpad flew away. Alex didn't want to let Beth down.
  • Alex: High winds don't bother me.
  • Michael Brandon: He said.
  • Janna: Or me.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Janna.
  • Janna: I'll come as your back character.
  • Michael Brandon: But Alex didn't want Janna to come.
  • Alex: No thank you, Janna.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Alex.
  • Alex: I can do it on my own.
  • Michael Brandon: And Alex walked away. But Janna liked Alex very much and she wanted to help. So she walked naughtily after him. Alex walked up the road to High Farm. The sky grew darker and darker. Soon it was pouring with rain. Alex's feet stumped. It was hard work.
  • Alex: Janna can't follow me.
  • Michael Brandon: He thought.
  • Alex: She isn't strong enough.
  • Michael Brandon: But Alex was wrong. Janna's hands were stumping right behind him. She whistled cheerfully to Alex. Alex was cross.
  • Alex: Bother!
  • Michael Brandon: Soon, Alex came to more paths. One way was the long, but easy way to High Farm. The other way was short, but much harder way. Spike knew the longer way was safer.
  • Alex: But I'll take the short way.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Alex.
  • Alex: Then Janna can't follow me. She isn't strong enough.
  • Michael Brandon: As the storm raged, Alex walked up the steep path. Alex was almost at High Farm. He was sure Janna wasn't behind him now.
  • Alex: I won't be seeing anymore of her today.
  • Michael Brandon: Thought Alex. Then came trouble. Earth and stones tumbled down the bank and blocked Spike's path.
  • Alex: Cinders and Ashes!
  • Michael Brandon: Cried Alex. But he still wanted to delivered Beth's presents.
  • Alex: I'll just have to bash my way through.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Alex. He walked up to the landslide. Alex was almost up to feet in mud and stone. He tried to go on.
  • (Alex groans)
  • Michael Brandon: But he couldn't. He tried to back out, but he couldn't. Alex was stuck.
  • Alex: I should have listened to Launchpad.
  • Michael Brandon: He said.
  • Alex: Now Janna won't get her presents on time. I've let her down.
  • Michael Brandon: Then, he heard the sound of a character. It was Janna coming up the hill behind him.
  • Janna: It's meeeeeeeeeeeee!
  • Michael Brandon: Tooted Janna. Then she saw Alex was stuck. Alex felt silly and very sad.
  • Janna: I'll go and get help.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Janna.
  • Alex: Wait a minute.
  • Michael Brandon: Whistled Alex.
  • Alex: Please, will you deliver Beth's present?
  • Michael Brandon: Janna was delighted.
  • Janna: Of course I can.
  • Michael Brandon: She said. Janna collected Alex's Beedrill, and set off to High Farm. Alex waited for Janna to come back. He was glad she had followed him after all. Soon Janna came walking back down the path.
  • Janna: Beth's mother has telephoned for help.
  • Michael Brandon: Janna told Alex.
  • Janna: Kevin is on his way to pull you out.
  • Michael Brandon: Then Alex noticed Janna had someone with her. It was Beth. She had come to thank Alex for getting her birthday presents to her.
  • Alex: I couldn't have done it without Janna's help.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Alex.
  • Alex: Now, we can all celebrate your birthday together.
  • Michael Brandon: Alex whistled happily, and so did Janna.
