Anti-Paladin

From Scratchpad

Probably due to the restrictions of the engine, this is a Fighter kit. Thankfully, this is the evil version of the Inquisitor and the Inquisitor is barely a Paladin anyway (no Turn Undead, Lay on Hands or casting Priest Spells). On top of this, the Anti-Paladin gets no Detect Good & Protection from Good, like the Blackguard. However, you end up with an immensily powerful Fighter. Dispelling things and minor immunities come at the sole cost of needing to be evil! What was Weimer thinking? If you want to play more fairly/in character, use ShadowKeeper to give yourself Detect Good & Protection from Good (you probably need to install the Blackguard to have access to those) and don't put more than 2 points in any weapon proficiencies.

[edit] Description

The Anti-Paladin has dedicated his life to finding and eliminating practicioners of good magic and defeating the forces of light, and his dark god has provided him with special abilities toward that end. Anti-Paladins take a special joy in inflicting pain and suffering.

[edit] Special Abilities

  • May use 'Dispel Magic' ability once per day per 4 levels (starts at 1st level with one use): ability is used at speed factor 1 and acts at twice his actual level.
  • May cast 'True Sight' once per day per 4 levels (starts at 1st level with one use).
  • Immune to Hold and Charm spells.
  • 'Dispel Magic' on every melee hit.

[edit] Restrictions

  • Must be of Evil alignment.

[edit] Notes

Part of Weimer's Tactics mod.

Will mortals ever get the spelling correct? This is an Anti-paladin, not a Paladin -- for the god's sake don't put a capital 'P'. -- 666 The Anti-paladin 666
