Narrator: "It was a beautiful fall day in Ponyville. All the animals will working very hard.

Hoity Toity came to Golden Oak Library. He had exciting news."

Hoity Toity: "Big Macintosh is to take the new Mayor of Ponyville on a special tour of the town."

Narrator: "He announced. Big Mac was thrilled. But then he had thought."

Big Macintosh: "Who will take the express buffaloes, sir?"

Narrator: "He asked. The other animals were excited. Pulling the express buffaloes was an important job. Everyone wanted to be chosen, but Hoity Toity chose Rarity.

When Hoity Toity left, Rarity was very happy. But Big Mac wasn't impressed."

Big Macintosh: "The express is the longest line of buffaloes in the town."

Narrator: "He sniffed."

Big Macintosh: "I always cross the town twice by teatime. You'll never do that."

Rarity: "I've got big hooves, and I'll do my best."

Narrator: "Said Rarity."

Big Macintosh: "Big hooves don't make a big horse."

Narrator: "Boasted Big Mac."

Big Macintosh: "Everyone knows I'm the best."

Narrator: "Spike thought Big Mac was showing off."

Spike: "Twice before teatime."

Narrator: "He puffed."

Spike: "That will be hard."

Narrator: "But Rarity wasn't listening to Spike."

Rarity: "I'm going to be as good as Big Macintosh."

Narrator: "She said eagerly. And she hurried away as fast as she could.

Rarity puffed into the town hall. She was looking forward to taking the express, but it was very, very heavy."

Rarity: "Bust my hooves!"

Narrator: "She gasped, and she slowly pulled out of the town hall. But she pulled away too soon, and left the last buffalo behind.

Rarity puffed with all her might. She was determined to be fast.

Rarity had crossed the town once in good time."

Rarity: "I am as good as Big Mac!"

Narrator: "She puffed proudly.

Rarity had to wait for Shining Armor at the crossing. Shining Armor went as fast as he could, but it wasn't fast enough for Rarity."

Rarity: "Hurry up, slowcoach!"

Narrator: "She cried."

Rarity: "Or you will make me late!"

Narrator: "Shining Armor felt sad, but Rarity just hurried off.

Rarity stopped at Sugar Cube Corner. The express was a guaranteed connection with Angel the Rabbit. But Angel hadn't arrived. He had a injured foot, and was running late. Rarity tried to wait. She counted to ten twice, but she felt as if her body would burst."

Rarity: "I'm going to be the slowest unicorn in Ponyville."

Narrator: "She cried."

Rarity: "And it's not my fault."

Narrator: "And she puffed away. When Angel arrived, Rarity had already left.

Rarity needed to drink more water. But Cranky was at the water fountain. He was pulling a slow goods load. Rarity wanted to go first."

Rarity: "It doesn't matter you were late."

Narrator: "She said."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "You must wait your turn."

Narrator: "Said Cranky crossly."

Rarity: "Express unicorns don't wait!"

Narrator: "Said Rarity, and she left without drinking more water.

Rarity went faster than ever. Her buffaloes rocked and rolled. And her passengers were biffed and bumped and bounced.

Finally, Rarity could see Ponyville Docks up ahead."

Rarity: "Twice before teatime."

Narrator: "She puffed happily."

Rarity: "I am as good as Big Mac!"

Narrator: "Then there was trouble. Rarity slowed down."

Rarity: "What's happening to me?!"

Narrator: "She cried. She went slower and slower. Rarity had run out of water. She huffed and puffed, but she had no strength left. Finally, Rarity came to a complete stop.

Hoity Toity arrived with Crnaky. He was very cross."

Hoity Toiry: "You should have waited."

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity sternly."

Hoity Toity: "And now you have caused confusion and delay! You left the last buffalo, stranded Angel's passengers and bumped your buffaloes. You must learn to be more patient."

Narrator: "Rarity knew Hoity Toity was right. She felt very bad. She was only trying to be as good as Big Macintosh."

Rarity: "I'm sorry, sir."

Narrator: "She said sadly.

Cranky pulled Rarity into the docks. Then, he went back to collect the express buffaloes."

Hoity Toity: "Now I need an animal to take the slow goods load."

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity. Rarity had an idea."

Rarity: "May I take it, sir?"

Narrator: "She said."

Rarity: "If I promise to go slowly?"

Narrator: "Hoity Toity thought it was a grand idea."

Hoity Toity: "The slow goods load needs lots of patience."

Narrator: "He said. Rarity was pleased. She was determined to do a good job.

So after she drank more water, and lots of food, Rarity walked up to the slow goods load.

She stopped at all the right buildings. And then she let all the other animals go first.

She stopped at a signal. Spike was waiting there."

Rarity: "Hey, Spike. I am learning patience."

Narrator: "Rarity puffed."

Rarity: "But if only I can learn it faster."

Narrator: "Spike had to laugh."
