Barney's Stu-u-pendous Adventure! is a custom Barney clip show and a custom Barney Home Video from Season 3. It was released in April 1st 1995. It features clips from the Backyard Gang episodes. It uses the same musical arranngments from Barney In Concert and Rock with Barney, the Backyard Gang episodes from 1991.

Plot

Barney takes Baby Bop and BJ on an adventure to find treasure. Along the way, they remember fun times from the Backyard Gang videos.

  • The end credit music is taken from Barney in Concert, and the start of this music in the curtain call is cut out.
  • The 1991 versions of I Love You and Everyone is Special are used since the Season 1 episode "Everyone is Special".
  • The 1990 versions of The Welcome Song is used since the Season 1 episode "Be a Friend".
  • The 1992 version of A Hunting We Will Go is used since Season 1.
  • The instrumental version of the 1991 Version of We Are Barney & The Backyard Gang is used with the lyrics of John Jacob Jingerheimer Schmidt.
  • The ending music uses the same key as Season 1-3 episodes.
  • Seventh regular Barney Home Video not to have kids, not counting the kids.
  • Seventh regular Barney Home Video which Barney isn't seen coming to life, instead, he is looking for a treasure book.
  • Seventh regular Barney Home Video which Barney does not turn back to a doll, instead, after Baby Bop and BJ say Bye to Barney, then they leave and dissapear, Barney tells the viewer(s) "Did you know my favorite rhyme from this book?". Then he turns to the first page and reads: "Treasures are great, each of them has gold and rainbows, so we look for them, when we go on a treasure hunt". Then Barney says to the viewer(s) "Can you say it with me? Treasures are great, each of them has gold and rainbows, so we look for them, when we go on a treasure hunt. Oh, good. I hope you like that rhyme, because I want you to enjoy it, and remember, I love you". Then he waves and says "Bye". Then it fades to the end credits.
  • Though it is a Season 3 Home Video, they use the 1990 Barney & The Backyard Gang Intro for the theme song. However, the first verse of I Love You still uses the "We are a happy family" line and the second verse still uses the "We're best friends like friends should be" line and Barney, Baby Bop and BJ's 1995 costumes and Season 3 voices are used.
  • The text for the end credits are taken from Backyard Gang episodes.
  • First time Barney, Baby Bop and BJ sing both verses of I Love You together.
  • The translations to the clips are the same as Barney Safety.
