This one dosen't have any Barney characters in it. Duck discovers that an old wooden bridge has cracks in it. Later, Gordon runs out of coal on the bridge and Duck saves him just before the bridge breaks. The audio is from my Trusty Rusty - Michael Brandon - With The Original Music.

  • Duck as Rusty
  • Gordon as Duncan
  • Thomas as Skarloey
  • Henry as Peter Sam (cameo role)
  • Stan Marsh (from South Park) as Sir Topham Hatt
  • Michael Brandon as The Narrator

  • Michael Brandon: Duck repairs the railway that wines through the mountains near the school. The little green engine checks that the tracks, tunnels and bridges are all in good-working order. One day, Duck was crossing the old wooden bridge. There was a big bump in the track. Duck's Driver stop to check the bridge.
  • Duck's Driver: There are cracks in the supports.
  • Michael Brandon: He said.
  • Duck: Oh, that can be dangerous.
  • Michael Brandon: Cried Duck.
  • Duck: It might fall down if it's not repaired.
  • Michael Brandon: And they hurried off to warn the other engines. The engines were waiting for their coal when Duck arrived.
  • Duck: Don't use the old wooden bridge.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Duck.
  • Duck: It's dangerous.
  • Gordon: How would you know?
  • Michael Brandon: Wheeshed Gordon.
  • Gordon: You're only a annoying little engine.
  • Michael Brandon: And he puffed crossily away. He didn't even wait for his coal. Duck hurried down the mountain to tell Stan Marsh the bad news.
  • Stan Marsh: Thank You.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Stan Marsh.
  • Stan Marsh: I'll send engineer to invesagate the bridge. Meanwhile, no body is to use it.
  • Michael Brandon: Duck's Driver put up a sign, Line Closed. The engines had to driver a different way. Meanwhile, Gordon needed more coal to get home. But when he arrived at the coal bunker, it was empty.
  • Gordon: Bother! I won't get home without more coal. Where's the nearest bunker?
  • Thomas: On the other side of the old wooden bridge. But you can't cross. Duck says it's unsafe.
  • Gordon: Duck always makes things sound wrost than they are.
  • Gordon's Driver: I'm sure one trip across the old wooden bridge won't hurt.
  • Michael Brandon: Said his driver. (Gordon puffs off) When they got to the junction, Gordon's Driver removed the sign. And they set off towards the bridge. This was a big mistake. Suddenly, Gordon hissed to a hault.
  • Gordon: I'm out of steam.
  • Michael Brandon: He had used up all his coal.
  • (A piece of wood falls into the water)
  • Gordon: What's that?
  • Michael Brandon: He asked nervsely. His driver looked down. The old wooden bridge was starting to collaps.
  • Thomas: Duck.
  • Michael Brandon: Called Thomas.
  • Thomas: Gordon's gone across the bridge.
  • Duck: I better check he's alright.
  • Michael Brandon: The great western engine said. But the cracks in the supports were getting larger. A beam snapped. Timber pieces splashed into the water below.
  • Gordon: HELP!
  • Michael Brandon: whistled Gordon!
  • Gordon: I'm going to fall!
  • Michael Brandon: But Duck was on the way. Soon, the great western engine each the old wooden bridge. Gordon had never looked so scared. Duck chuffed bravely onto the bridge.
  • Gordon: Careful!
  • Michael Brandon: Shouted Gordon. Soon they were coupled up.
  • Duck: Hold on.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Duck.
  • Gordon: Ahhhhhhh!
  • Michael Brandon: Shouted Gordon. The great western engine pulled him off the bridge just in time.
  • Duck: Don't use the old wooden bridge.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Duck.
  • Duck: It's dangerous.
  • Michael Brandon: Stan Marsh was cross with Gordon.
  • Stan Marsh: That was very ilreasponsible.
  • Gordon: Yes sir. Sorry sir. And Duck, you were very brave.
  • Duck: Ah, thanks.
  • Stan Marsh: Yes Duck. You are a really useful engine.
  • Duck: Thank you sir.
  • Michael Brandon: Said Duck. Duck felt very reaible too.

My Comments

  • ThomasandBarneyFan: Gordon suits Duncan because they both don't listen to Duck and Rusty.
  • DuckStepneyJamesandRustyFan: If I made Barney/Thomas parodies, I would use the Family Guy characters as the Narrow Gauge Engines.
  • BarneyRiffBJandDerekFan: If I made Barney/Thomas parodies, I would use the Thomas characters as the Pack and the TUGS characters as the Narrow Gauge Engines.
  • SuperMalechi: Poor Gordon.
  • JamesBJandSchemerFan: He suits Duncan because Gordon doesn't like frieght cars, and Duncan doesn't like garbage cars.
  • BarneyandHomerSimpsonFan: I'm going to use The Simpsons characters as the Narrow Gauge Engines in my Barney/Thomas series.
  • BiggestBarneyThomasandStanMarshFan: I'm using the South Park characters as the Narrow Gauge Engines in my series. Should I use Cartman as Sir Handel or Duncan?
  • Pellesekin: I would Cartman as Sir Handel.
  • BiggestThomasFan: If I made parodies with the Thomas characters as The Narrow Gauge Engines, I would use Toby as Rusty (because they both have square bodies), Gordon as Sir Handel (because they're both blue), James as Duncan (because they're both vain) and Duck as Freddie.
  • Pellesekin: I would use chareters from Skipper & Skeeto as the narowgauge engines.
