Barney's All-Star Concert Live! in New York City is the remake of Barney in Concert and Barney Live! in New York City. It was filmed on November 29, 1994, and released on VHS on December 15, 1994 to commemorate Season 3. This is one of a few Barney videos and the only Barney Live! show to be rated PG.

Trivia and differences from the 1994 original

  • Barney has the same costume and voice from Barney's Imagination Island and Barney Live! in New York City.
  • Baby Bop has her 1991-1992/Season 1 costume and Season 3 voice.
  • BJ has his 1993/Season 2 costume and Season 3 voice.
  • Juan replaces Kelly in this video/show.
  • Unlike in the real show, Carlos as well as Juan, provides a bigger, extended, speaking role.
  • On Barney's first failed attempt to catch the Winkster, he runs backstage; then offstage, he stumbles over a rake, electric wires, and glass shards. After the Winkster disappears, he emerges on the same balcony with smoke coming out, holding the rake, getting tangled in wires, and glass shards on his feet. But his feet do not contain blood which makes it safe for children. But the show is stil rates PG.
  • After "Take Me Out to the Ballgame", Barney intends to hit the ball and the ball flies over to hit neighbor who then emerges onstage all hot headed and bans them from playing baseball. When the neighbor is about to threaten Barney, the kids seize him until it starts to rain.
  • This is the last time the words "Shimbaree, Shimbarah" are used.
  • Michael takes Barney over the peanut salesman job.
  • After Derek the Incredible's last failed attempt to lift the barbel, he claims that he has muscle cramps.
  • The Winkster tells the audience that "You see boys and girls, Barney and his friends will never catch me.", and when Barney and the kids try to catch him, the kids end up bullying one another by accident.
  • I Love You is added to the show this time and has the same musical arrangement from "Shawn and the Beanstalk", "On the Move", and "Who's Who on the Choo Choo?". It is also sung in three verses for the first time (as the first verse was from the Backyard Gang version of the song). Barney sings the first and second verses, and the rest of the cast joins him in singing the last verse.
  • The ending credits music mixes four songs from the Barney in Concert and Barney Live! in New York City credits.
