Narrator: "Ten Cents and Sunshine enjoy working in the docks. They like the sea air and the sound of the gulls.
But one day, the friends were feeling hot and bothered. A crane was causing confusion. His name is Big Mickey, and this was his first day at the docks."
Big Mickey: "You're useless little bugs!"
Narrator: "He called from above."
Big Mickey: "If you put these barges on the inside lines, then I wouldn't have so far to travel!"
Ten Cents: "Rubbish!"
Narrator: "Said Ten Cents."
Ten Cents: "We always arrange our barges like this, and no crane has ever complained before."
Big Mickey: "Well, I'm complaining now!"
Narrator: "And Big mickey splashed his load down in the water.
Later, the two tugboats met Big Mac and Top Hat and told them about Big Mickey."
Big Mac: "Cranes are hairy fairy things, they need a lot of attention, like me, in fact."
Narrator: "Said Big Mac."
Top Hat: "You should see the situation from Big Mickey's point of view."
Narrator: "Huffed Top Hat."
Top Hat: "He's high up in the air, coping with wind, rain, and baking sun, then he looks down and sees you two little tugboats being annoying! No wonder he calls you 'bugs'."
Narrator: "When Big Mickey heard that the big tugboats agreed with him, he grew bossier still."
Big Mickey: "Come on! Come on! Push those barges closer to me!"
Narrator: "But Sunshine was too upset to concentrate, and pushed the barges too far." (Big Mickey drops his load on Sunshine) "Poor Sunshine.
Then, Big Mickey played a trick on Ten Cents."
Big Mickey: "Push your barges onto the outside line! It's easier for me to load up!"
Narrator: "So Ten Cents did.
But Big Mickey left the loads beside the barges, not in them."
Big Mickey: "You must have known my arm can't reach you there!"
Narrator: "Complained Big Mickey. This mix-up caused confusion and delay.
Captain Star was most upset."
Captain Star: "Ten Cents and Sunshine, this new crane has an important job to do. I have heard you have not been helping him today. You will go to your sheds and consider how you will improve yourselves tomorrow."
Narrator: "Now, Ten Cents and Sunshine were upset, too.
That evening, a big storm raged across Bigg City Port.
Big Mickey and the Tugboats were trapped at the docks."
Grampus: "We're sure to be safe in this shed."
Narrator: "Said Grampus.
But he was wrong.
The tugboats had no idea they were about to be put in great danger by an old tramp steamer. It was out of control, and running aground, straight into the sheds!"
Big Mickey: "AAAAH!" (Falls Over)
Warrior, Top Hat, Big Mac, and Grampus: "Help!"
Narrator: "Called the Tugboats from inside the shed."
Big Mickey: "I can't!"
Narrator: "Called Big Mickey pathetically.
When the storm was over, Captain Star rushed to the scene of destruction."
Captain Star: "Ten Cents and Sunshine will help you."
Narrator: "He called to Big Mickey."
Captain Star: "And then you can help the Tugboats."
Big Mickey: "Oh, please, hurry!"
Narrator: "Cried Big Mickey."
Big Mickey: "And tell them I'm sorry I was rude to them!"
Captain Star: "So it was you!"
Narrator: "Murmured Captain Star."
Captain Star: "I owe those Tugboats an apology."
Narrator: "Ten Cents and Sunshine soon came to the rescue.
And it wasn't too long before Big Mickey was upright again, and clearing the wreckage.
At last, all the Tugboats were free."
Big Mac: "Oh, thank you."
Narrator: "Said Big Mac."
Big Mac: "What would I have done without you?"
Big Mickey: "Well, I had to be rescued before I could help you.
But I never thought it would be done by a couple of bu... bu..."
Narrator: "Big Mickey was about to say 'bugs', but he quickly corrected himself."
Big Mickey: "Uh, small Tugboats, thank you. I'll never be rude again. However, you two mites are in my way, so move over!"
Narrator: "Said Sunshine."
Sunshine: "He's back to bugging us!"
Ten Cents: "Don't move! You're still attached to Big Mickey!"
Narrator: "But it was too late." (Big Mickey Falls Over)
"Big Mickey still looks down on the two little Tugboats, but ever since that stormy night, he never calls them 'bugs' or 'mites', because he knows they might bite back!"
