  • (The Thomas Season 6 intro is shown and we begin Buffer Bother)
  • Alec Baldwin: Bill and Ben are quarry engines. They are twins. They play together, they shunt freight cars together. They even get up to naughtyness together. Whenever you find Bill you will find Ben. Whether you find Ben you will find Bill. Sir Topham Hatt had come to inspect his quarry engines. He found that Mavis and Bill were in fine working order.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Unfortunately, Ben.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sir Topham Hatt said.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Your buffers are damaged. You must report to the engine works inmediately for a new set of buffers. Mavis you will have to work with Bill until Ben returns.
  • Mavis: Yes sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Mavis and Sir Topham Hatt drove away. Ben was happy.
  • Ben: I'm going to get new buffers!
  • Alec Baldwin: He gloated to Bill.
  • Bill: Well I should get new buffers too.
  • Alec Baldwin: Bill complained.
  • Bill: We're twins. We do everything together.
  • Ben: But you don't need new buffers.
  • Alec Baldwin: Ben teased.
  • Bill: You're getting new buffers because you're getting clumsy.
  • Alec Baldwin: Snorted Bill enviously.
  • Ben: No I'm not!
  • Bill: Yes you are!
  • Ben: No I'm not!
  • Bill: Yes you are!
  • Mavis: Will you two stop being crackpots?
  • Alec Baldwin: Mavis scolded.
  • Mavis: Now come on, Bill, we've got work to do.
  • Alec Baldwin: Ben couldn't wait to get new buffers. Later, Bill watched as Ben chuffed away to the engine works. He was green with envy, he wanted new buffers too. Bill returned to his job but he wasn't thinking about work. All he could think about was Ben's new buffers.
  • (Bill and the flatbed run into some buffers)
  • Bill: Ooh!
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Bill.
  • Bill: (sneezes)
  • Mavis: Be careful.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Mavis.
  • Mavis: And stop thinking about Ben's new buffers.
  • Alec Baldwin: Bill tried thinking about birds, he tried thinking about trees, he tried thinking about anything but Ben and his brand new buffers. But it didn't work.
  • Bill: I want new buffers too!
  • Alec Baldwin: He cried.
  • Mavis: Just be happy you're in good working order.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Mavis.
  • Bill: It's not fair!
  • Alec Baldwin: Bill huffed and he wheeshed soot all over Mavis.
  • Mavis: Bill!
  • Alec Baldwin: Gasped Mavis.
  • Bill: Oops, sorry.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Bill. Bill tried his best to get with his work. But the troublesome trucks have spotted a chance for a tease.
  • Trucks: Poor poor Bill, he works, he suffers, while Ben his twin gets brand new buffers!
  • Bill: I might not have new buffers.
  • Alec Baldwin: He said.
  • Bill: But I still know how to biff troublesome trucks.
  • Mavis: No!
  • Alec Baldwin: Mavis cried.
  • (Bill pushes a troublesome truck and accidentally falls into a pit)
  • Alec Baldwin: But it was too late. Ben puffed into the quarry with his shiny new buffers just in time to hear...
  • Bill: Bust my buffers!
  • Alec Baldwin: Cried Bill.
  • Ben: I think you have.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Ben. When Sir Topham Hatt arrived and saw Bill's broken buffers, he was not happy.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: You behaved badly Bill.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sir Topham Hatt said.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Do you have anything to say for yourself?
  • Bill: Yes, sir. I'm sorry, sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Bill.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Before you get new buffers.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sir Topham Hatt continued.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: I want you to think what it means to be a responsible reliable engine.
  • Bill: Yes Sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Answered Bill weakly. After Sir Topham Hatt left, Ben rolled up to Bill with his new buffers gleaming.
  • Bill: They are nice buffers.
  • Alec Baldwin: Bill said.
  • Ben: Thanks.
  • Alec Baldwin: Ben said.
  • Ben: I'm sorry I teased you.
  • Bill: That's all right.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Bill.
  • Bill: I was naughty too.
  • Ben: Of course you are.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Ben.
  • Ben: We're twins.
  • (A nameplate sequence occurs and we begin James and The Trouble With Trees)
  • Alec Baldwin: Thomas the Tank Engine had been working in the coal yards all day. The little blue engine was covered in coal dust.
  • Thomas' Driver: We can't clean you up tonight, Thomas.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his driver.
  • Thomas' Driver: There's a problem with the hose pipe.
  • Thomas: Bother!
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Thomas.
  • Thomas: A bath would make me feel much better. The others are sure to say i look silly.
  • Alec Baldwin: But the engines were too busy arguing to notice Thomas. James was talking loudest of all.
  • James: I deserve a new coat of paint. Sir Topham Hatt says i'm the pride of the line and...
  • Henry: Rubbish!
  • Alec Baldwin: Huffed Henry.
  • Henry: We're all the pride of the line.
  • Percy: It's been like this all day.
  • Alec Baldwin: Confided Percy to Thomas.
  • Percy: James is getting a new coat of paint and won't stop boasting about it.
  • Thomas: Why, James! I'm the one who needs a new coat. Look at me.
  • James: I rather not.
  • Alec Baldwin: Retorted James.
  • James: You're not a pleasant sight and wouldn't understand that needs of a really important engine.
  • Alec Baldwin: Thomas was fuming. Next morning as James was being repainted, Henry had an accident.
  • (Crash)
  • James: If you can't push cars properly, Henry, why not talk to a tree instead. You know how much you like the forest.
  • Henry: As a matter of fact, bossy boiler, Sir Topham Hatt is inspecting the island for trees that have fallen too close to the line. He's worried that might cause trouble.
  • James: Pah!
  • Alec Baldwin: Laughed James.
  • James: If i came upon a tree i just push it aside.
  • Henry: Really!?
  • Alec Baldwin: Henry replied. Soon, James was showing off his paintwork.
  • James: Make way for an important engine.
  • Percy: You wouldn't feel important if one of those trees crashed on you. You feel hurt.
  • Alec Baldwin: Reproached Percy.
  • James: Rubbish! It wouldn't dare!
  • Terence: You should be careful, James. Trees can be just as powerful as engines.
  • Alec Baldwin: Adviced Terence.
  • James: Oh please! Now excuse me, Sir Topham Hatt needs me to pull the express.
  • Alec Baldwin: And he huffed away. But James was wrong.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: You must go to the yards and collect an important goods train James. It's heavy so be careful.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Sir Topham Hatt.
  • James: But, sir, I've just been repainted. Can't Thomas and Percy do it? They're dirty and like working with freight cars.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Really useful engines don't argue.
  • Alec Baldwin: So James didn't. By the time he arrived at the yards, the weather was changed for the worse.
  • Freight Car: Your color's nice, James. Pity about your face though.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said a freight car. James ignored them and set off. Soon they came to a hill and his driver knew they were in for a dificult time. An old tree close to the tracks was being blown by the strong winds and the rain had weakened the slope. All of a sudden, the tree moved.
  • James: Oh help!
  • Alec Baldwin: Cried James.
  • James: Go away!
  • Alec Baldwin: But of course, the tree couldn't. James tried to reverse away from the tree but his train was too heavy. Then he heard a whistle.
  • James' Driver: It's Thomas.
  • Alec Baldwin: Called his driver. James felt embarrased and worried that Thomas would laugh at him, but Thomas didn't. He knew it was no time for teasing.
  • Thomas: Peep, peep! I'm ready!
  • Alec Baldwin: Whistled Thomas.
  • James: So am I.
  • Alec Baldwin: Replied James.
  • James: As ready as I'll ever be.
  • Alec Baldwin: They were just in time.
  • (The tree lands on the ground with a loud wham!)
  • Alec Baldwin: Later, James spoke to Thomas.
  • James: Percy and Terence were so right to warn me. Thank you for rescuing me, Thomas.
  • Thomas: Oh, that's all right. We engines have to pull together whatever the weather.
  • Alec Baldwin: Just then, Edward bustled in.
  • Edward: Sir Topham Hatt thinks you're both brave engines. Thomas, you're going to have a new coat of paint, and James, Sir Topham Hatt says that tomorrow you'll pull the special express.
  • Alec Baldwin: Everyone was very happy.
  • (Another nameplate sequence occurs and we begin Something In The Air)
  • Alec Baldwin: One day, Thomas was at the keyside of a small village. Fish were being loaded into his cars. The work took a long time, the fishermen were using old equipment and Thomas was worried.
  • Thomas: I'm going to be late for Henry at the docks. He won't like this. Please hurry up.
  • Alec Baldwin: Thomas was rudely interrupted.
  • (The crate containing fish inside falls on top of Thomas)
  • Alec Baldwin: His driver and fireman laughed.
  • Thomas: Phew!
  • Alec Baldwin: Sniffed Thomas.
  • Thomas: What a pong!
  • Alec Baldwin: He was glad when they were speeding along the beautiful coastal run. Then, they saw a man waving a red flag.
  • Thomas: What's the matter now?
  • Man: High tides are damaging the track.
  • Alec Baldwin: Reported the man.
  • Man: I've marked the spot.
  • Thomas' Driver: We'll go and inspect.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said the Driver.
  • Thomas' Driver: It would be dangerous for heavy engines like Henry.
  • Alec Baldwin: Agreed the driver.
  • Thomas' Driver: But for Thomas, it's safe enough.
  • Alec Baldwin: The guard left a red oil lamp by the damaged track to warn engines.
  • Guard: When we get to the docks, i'll tell them to close the line.
  • Alec Baldwin: Henry was waiting for Thomas' cars.
  • Henry: Pah! You're late and that smell is making me ill!
  • Thomas: It's the fish!
  • Alec Baldwin: Replied Thomas.
  • Thomas: And there's danger on the rails. That's why we're late.
  • Henry: Pah! You're the only danger on the rails, Thomas. Now stop wasting time and get my cars hitched to my train.
  • Alec Baldwin: Thomas' driver and fireman were in the yard master's office when they heard Henry's whistle. He was steaming out of the station with his long heavy train called The Flying Kipper.
  • Thomas' Driver: What rude is Henry taking tonight?
  • Alec Baldwin: Asked the Driver.
  • Yard Master: The coastal run. It's the quickest.
  • Thomas' Driver: But i told you!
  • Alec Baldwin: Gasped the driver.
  • Thomas' Driver: That's dangerous for a big engine like Henry!
  • Alec Baldwin: The yard master quickly phoned the signalman. Henry roared past the signalbox.
  • Henry: I'll soon make up for lost time.
  • Alec Baldwin: The signalman couldn't hear the warning. By the time he did, Henry was far away in a cloud of steam. But when Henry reached the coastal track, his hopes for a fast run were dashed. Fog floated everywhere.
  • Henry: I can't see!
  • Alec Baldwin: Cried Henry. Nor could his driver. And when he could, it was too late.
  • (Henry falls down into the deep water)
  • Alec Baldwin: As soon as the tide was high enough, Henry was craned out of the water.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Engines don't swim, Henry. You were meant to deliver fish not swim with them. You should know that by now.
  • Henry: Yes, sir. I'm sorry, sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: When Henry arrived at the docks, Cranky the Crane looked down on him.
  • Cranky: My, my, Henry. I expect you'll have some fishy tales to tell. But take my advice, have a long hosedown first.
  • Alec Baldwin: But there was worse to come.
  • Boy 1: Look! They've caught all this fish and a green whale too.
  • Boy 2: It's not a whale, it's a monster.
  • Alec Baldwin: Henry was most upset. Thomas now felt sorry for Henry.
  • Thomas: Come on. Your driver says it's time for a nice washdown. Then you'll feel much better.
  • Alec Baldwin: And Henry did.
  • Henry: I'm sorry i was rude to you, Thomas.
  • Thomas: That's all right. But can you smell something?
  • Henry: W-W-What?
  • Thomas: Fresh air.
  • Henry: Oh yes.
  • Alec Baldwin: Replied Henry happily.
  • (Another nameplate sequence occurs and we begin Oliver's Find)
  • Alec Baldwin: Oliver and his break van Toad liked working in the big yards, but one morning, Toad noticed that Oliver was unhappy. He decided to find out why.
  • Toad: Uh, excuse me, Mr. Oliver. It seems to me that things are not well with you, if you forgive for mentioning it.
  • Oliver: You're quite right, Toad. All I do is shunt these freight cars onto the turntable. I longed for a nice run. It's what an engine really means.
  • Toad: Uh, quite so, Mr. Oliver. May I suggest that you speak to Sir Topham Hatt about your problems.
  • Alec Baldwin: But Oliver said nothing. He just grew unhappier and he was rough with the freight cars.
  • Cars: You're no good, Oliver, you're dangerous. We want Percy.
  • Oliver: Percy's far too busy to be bothered with the likes of you.
  • Alec Baldwin: And Oliver bumped the freight cars hard.
  • (The freight cars fall into the turntable)
  • Workman: You silly engine!
  • Alec Baldwin: Shouted a workman.
  • Workman: It'll take a long time to repair this turntable which'll cause confusion and delay!
  • Alec Baldwin: That night, Sir Topham Hatt arrived.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Oliver, you had caused confusion. I thought you can control freight cars. You should work the mail train for a while. Maybe the night air will clear your smokebox.
  • Oliver: Yes, sir. Sorry, sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Oliver sadly.
  • Driver: Cheer up, old chap.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his driver.
  • Driver: The mail train run is a fine run for an engine like you.
  • Alec Baldwin: Oliver smiled, but he still felt he had left everyone down. His driver took him along the coastal run with the mail train. The fresh air couldn't help but brighten Oliver's spirits. They made good speed until it was time to collect some important mail from Harold the Helicopter.
  • Oliver: Come on, Harold.
  • Alec Baldwin: At last Harold landed.
  • Harold: Sorry I'm late, great western. Had any uh bit of a problems with one of my arms. Kept letting me down when I was uh meant to be up. You know how it is.
  • Driver: We know that we'll be late for our first run.
  • Alec Baldwin: Replied Oliver's driver. Soon, they were on their way again. Ahead was a red signal light. Oliver didn't realized that the signalman had dozed off. Oliver whistled several times, but the signal stayed red.
  • Driver: There must be something wrong with that signal. We'll go slowly and stop by the signalbox.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his driver. But they never reached it. The points before the signalbox were switched to an old track. They were going the wrong way. Oliver's fireman was concered.
  • Fireman: We need to find the watertower soon.
  • Alec Baldwin: Instead they saw an old station. Disaster lay ahead.
  • (Oliver crashes into a shed)
  • Alec Baldwin: Meanwhile, Sir Topham Hatt was worried.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Oliver has not returned. We'll send out a search party.
  • Alec Baldwin: Soon he was high in the sky with Harold.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: There they are.
  • Driver: It wasn't Oliver's fault.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sighed the driver.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: I'm aware of that. I'm just glad to see you were all safe.
  • Alec Baldwin: Then he saw something. It was an empty old house beside the station. He went to inspect it. When he returned, he spoke to Oliver.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: You have found another attraction for our island. We'll make this house as good as new and visitors can have tea and prophets there.
  • Oliver: Hmm.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sighed Oliver.
  • Oliver: Getting lost can be interesting but being found can be much nicer. Especially what an engine feels really useful.
  • (Another nameplate sequence occurs and we begin A Better View For Gordon)
  • Alec Baldwin: Gordon was feeling grumpy. This was making James cross.
  • James: Why are you complaining all the time?
  • Gordon: Because I'm a big blue engine and I know everything. I shall complain whatever I like. You're just a small red engine with ideas above your station.
  • Percy: I can't see any.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Percy.
  • Percy: Where are they?
  • Gordon: Any what?
  • Percy: Ideas above the station. The sky's empty.
  • James: Like your smokebox, Percy.
  • Alec Baldwin: Laughed James, but Gordon was still grumpy.
  • Gordon: One day I'll show you just a big engine can really do.
  • Percy: So what can a big engine really do?
  • Gordon: Not speak to silly little green engines for a start.
  • Alec Baldwin: Replied Gordon, then he puffed away. Later that day, Sir Topham Hatt came to see him.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Gordon, you'll be making one stop today with an empty express to test our new station. You can make up time afterwards.
  • Gordon: Why can't Henry do it? He likes idling at stations.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: You will do as you are told.
  • Alec Baldwin: So Gordon did. But he was still unhappy and he grew sick too.
  • Gordon: I just can't get up to speed.
  • Alec Baldwin: He groaned.
  • Gordon's Fireman: It's time for your visit to the works. Your pipes are clogged.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said the fireman. At last, they approached the new station. Gordon was impressed but his mood soon changed. In front of him was a blank wall and huge buffers.
  • Gordon: What a boring view! Important engines like me should have a paramonic view where I can see people and people could see me.
  • Alec Baldwin: And he wheeshed angrily. Gordon was happy when it was time to leave.
  • Gordon's Driver: Now you can really enjoy your run as long as your pipes will let you.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his driver.
  • Gordon: Come on, come on! I can go faster that this!
  • Alec Baldwin: Huffed Gordon.
  • Gordon: Sick? Me? Never!
  • (Gordon suddenly breaks down)
  • Alec Baldwin: But Gordon began to feel more and more feeble, and soon, he came to a complete stop.
  • Gordon: What happened?
  • Alec Baldwin: His driver and fireman inspected him.
  • Gordon's Fireman: Something's broken inside you, Gordon.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his fireman.
  • Gordon's Fireman: Now you're really will have to go to the works.
  • Alec Baldwin: Gordon was still fuming when James arrived to collect his coaches.
  • James: Well, well, well! So much about anything. You got too puffed up in your boiler so it's serves you right.
  • Alec Baldwin: When Gordon returned to the works a few days later, he was still boasting.
  • Gordon: I am the finest engine on the Island of Sodor, properly the finest in the world.
  • Gordon's Driver: Come on, Gordon. We're going to the official opening at the new station.
  • Alec Baldwin: Then, there was trouble. As Gordon approached the new station, neither the driver nor fireman could apply his brakes. Something had jammed. The driver reduced steam, but Gordon was still going too fast.
  • (Gordon crashed into the wall)
  • Gordon: Help me, please!
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Well, Gordon.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Sir Topham Hatt.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: I knew you wanted a panoramic view, but this is not a way to achieve it.
  • Gordon: Yes, Sir, sorry, Sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: When Gordon was repaired again, he took Sir Topham Hatt to the new station, for a second official opening. This time he arrived safely, and everyone clapped and cheered as he pulled in. Sir Topham Hatt spoke to him.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Your panoramic view is here to stay. I trusted you are always see through it, from the safety of your own rails.
  • Alec Baldwin: Gordon hardly agreed.
  • (Another nameplate sequence occurs and we begin Rusty Saves The Day)
  • Alec Baldwin: Rusty is a little diesel engine who works at the quarry on the Island of Sodor. Rusty's best friends are Rheneas and Skarloey. Rusty helps keep their line clear. Sometimes, Rusty worked so hard clearing their line that the little diesel forgets there's also work to be done at the quarry. One day, Rusty returned late to the quarry. Sir Topham Hatt was cross.
  • Rusty's Driver: Sorry, sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Rusty's driver said.
  • Rusty's Driver: We were helping Rheneas and Skarloey.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: I know you like helping Rheneas and Skarloey. But their line is in bad condition. It takes too much of your time.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Sir Topham Hatt.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: I am going to shut it down.
  • Alec Baldwin: Rusty was upset.
  • Rusty: But what will Rheneas and Skarloey do?
  • Alec Baldwin: Rusty asked.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: They will come and work with you here at the quarry.
  • Alec Baldwin: He had made up his mind. There was nothing Rusty could do. Their line was closed down. Rheneas and Skarloey came to work at the quarry. They worked as hard as they could but they missed the forests and hills. Most of all they missed their passengers. Rusty could see they were not happy. Sir Topham Hatt came to the quarry with important news.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: We are going to be blasting for the next two weeks.
  • Alec Baldwin: He said.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: It wont be safe for you here. I'll have to find you other work.
  • Rusty: Please sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Rusty said.
  • Rusty: It would use the next two weeks to repair Rheneas and Skarloey's line. Then they can go back to their old jobs.
  • Rusty's Driver: There are plenty of line workers available.
  • Alec Baldwin: Rusty's driver added. Sir Topham Hatt agreed.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: But you have only two weeks to complete the job.
  • Alec Baldwin: He said sternly. Rheneas and Skarloey's line was covered in rocks and branches and the tracks were broken in several places. Elizabeth the Quarry Truck thought cleaning up the line was ridiculous.
  • Elizabeth: What a waste of time.
  • Alec Baldwin: She sniffed. Skarloey was upset.
  • Skarloey: She's right.
  • Alec Baldwin: He said.
  • Skarloey: We'll never get it done in two weeks.
  • Rusty: We can't give up.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Rusty. The engines worked harder than ever, but time was running out. The next day, Rusty had a clever idea.
  • Rusty: If only we had a truck to help us.
  • Alec Baldwin: Rusty sighed. Elizabeth stopped
  • Elizabeth: But I couldn't possibly help you. I'm a quarry truck.
  • Rusty: Well we do need a special kind of truck.
  • Alec Baldwin: Rusty teased.
  • Elizabeth: I am a special kind of truck.
  • Alec Baldwin: Protested Elizabeth.
  • Rusty: It requires hauling
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Rusty.
  • Elizabeth: I can haul.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Elizabeth.
  • Rusty: And pulling heavy branches.
  • Alec Baldwin: Added Rusty.
  • Elizabeth: Well of course I can pull.
  • Rusty: So you'll do it.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Rusty.
  • Elizabeth: Well of course.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Elizabeth proudly. Elizabeth was as good as her work. She hauled rubbish and pulled branches from the line. She helped remove a fallen stickable tree from the cattle creep.
  • Rusty: Thank you, Elizabeth.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Rusty.
  • Rusty: We could've done without you.
  • Elizabeth: I know.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Elizabeth proudly. Sir Topham Hatt inspected the line. He was very impressed.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Well done Rusty.
  • Alec Baldwin: He said.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: And well done Elizabeth. We will open this line inmediately.
  • Alec Baldwin: Rusty was proud. Rheneas and Skarloey were very happy.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Maybe now Rusty will had time to work at the quarry.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Sir Topham Hatt and Rusty just smiled.
  • (Another nameplate sequence occurs and we begin Haunted Henry)
  • Alec Baldwin: It was a moonlit night. Henry was taking a goods train to the station by the lake.
  • (Owl hoots)
  • Edward: Whenever that owl hoots, a mist rolls in.
  • Alec Baldwin: Murmured Edward.
  • Edward: There's a legend that when the mist is about, there's a ghost about too. Take care on the old line, Henry.
  • Henry: Stupid bird!
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Henry.
  • Henry: Owls, mists, ghosts. Edward's going soft to the boiler. There's no mist.
  • Alec Baldwin: But Henry was wrong.
  • Henry: What's that?
  • Alec Baldwin: Cried Henry.
  • Henry's Driver: It's an amber lamp.
  • Alec Baldwin: Murmured his driver.
  • Henry's Driver: That means proceed with caution. Who's there?
  • Alec Baldwin: No one replied. Henry crepted slowly forward. He stopped by a tree. It had a sign nailed to it: Beware of The Viaduct. The driver was surprised.
  • Henry's Driver: No one warned us about that before and look, the signal's red and the gates are closed. A-a-and there's a fogman's coat. But where is his owner?
  • Alec Baldwin: Then, they saw a light move within a station building.
  • Henry: G-g-g-g-ghosts!
  • Alec Baldwin: Exclaimed Henry.
  • Henry: Edward was right.
  • Henry's Driver: Something very strange is happening.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his driver.
  • Henry's Driver: I think it's best we go back.
  • Henry: So do I!
  • Alec Baldwin: Agreed Henry. By morning, the mist had cleared. A workman was talking about the unsafe viaduct.
  • Workman: Lucky you didn't cross it last night.
  • Henry's Driver: Yes, but we don't know who warned us?
  • Alec Baldwin: Replied Henry's driver. Later that day, he spoke to Henry.
  • Henry's Driver: The viaduct has been repaired. We can take our train back along the old line tonight.
  • Alec Baldwin: Henry really didn't want to. But when nightfall came, he was sizzling nicely. Suddenly, an owl hooted and then Gordon thundered by.
  • Freight Car: Oh look. Henry's spooked.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said a freight car.
  • (Freight Cars giggling)
  • Henry: Be quiet!
  • Alec Baldwin: Snapped Henry.
  • Henry: I'm not scared.
  • Alec Baldwin: But he was. A little later, the fog came down. As they approached the same area, they saw the amber light again.
  • Henry's Driver: Here we go.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Henry's driver. Then, unknown to Henry, the gates mysteriously closed by themselves and the signal went red. The freight cars had seen everything and they were spooked.
  • Freight Cars: Faster, faster. There's a ghost about.
  • Henry: Stop, stop!
  • Alec Baldwin: Yelled Henry. A mysterious figure watched Henry go by. Ahead was a landslide blocking the line. Henry braked hard but the freight cars hit some of the rubble and plunged into the ravine.
  • (The freight cars fall down and crashed towards the ground with a loud Kuh-Thud)
  • Alec Baldwin: Just then, Henry's driver saw a strange sight coming towards them.
  • Henry's Driver: What's that?
  • Alec Baldwin: He said. The fireman laughed.
  • Henry's Fireman: That's our ghost. It's Old Bailey the Fogman.
  • Alec Baldwin: Old Bailey was very cross.
  • Old Bailey: I tired to warn you about the viaduct. Why didn't ye pay attention?
  • Henry's Driver: We're sorry.
  • Alec Baldwin: Replied the driver.
  • Henry's Driver: Is there anything we can do to thank you?
  • Old Bailey: I like to operate that old station. If you let me, I promise I wont spook Henry again.
  • Alec Baldwin: And in a little while, Old Bailey's wish was granted.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: You and your station will be really useful.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Sir Topham Hatt.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Let's hear a hearty thank you to the friendliest, eh, ghost on the island.
  • Alec Baldwin: Everyone cheered. Especially Henry, who was the happiest of all.

  • (After that, the 2001 HiT Entertainment logo appears)
