Narrator: "One morning, Bart was impatience. He was wearing a new shirt and long for everyone to see it. The other TV Characters were still dozing, but not Bart."

Bart: "Driver should be here by now. What's he doing?"

Garfield: "Sleeping."

Narrator: "Grunted Garfield."

Bart: "But that means I'll be late. The flowers will be waiting and the passengers will get cross."

Homer: "Rubbish!"

Narrator: "Huffed Homer."

Schemer: "It's still early."

Narrator: "Added Schemer."

Schemer: "You just want to show off."

Bart: "No I don't!"

RS Mr. Conductor: "Never Bart."

Narrator: "Said RS Mr. Conductor."

RS Mr. Conductor: "It'll soon be time for work. But be careful, or you might run into danger and Abe Simpson is not here to save you."

Grandpa Dave: "A--A-Abe?"

Narrator: "Stuttered Grandpa Dave."

Grandpa Dave: "You mean our hero?"

Narrator: "A large painting of Abe hung in the house."

RS Mr. Conductor: "The very same."

Narrator: "Said RS Mr. Conductor."

RS Mr. Conductor: "Driver told me the story. Listen."

Narrator: "And this is the story RS Mr. Conductor told them."

RS Mr. Conductor: "Long ago, Bear and Cat used to work with Abe on his old land, but Cat still had a lot to learn.

Captain Star came to see him."

Captain Star: "Cat, I'm pleased with your work so far. Now you must learn the difficult part of the path. We call it "The Mountain Road"."

RS Mr. Conductor: "Cat was excited."

Cat: "Yes, please, sir."

Captain Star: "So tomorrow,"

RS Mr. Conductor: "Continued Captain Star."

Captain Star: "When you have some new fur, you will go on it. Abe Simpson will explain everything."

Cat: "Huh!"

RS Mr. Conductor: "Thought Cat."

Cat: "Abe's an old fusspot!"

RS Mr. Conductor: "Next day came."

Abe Simpson: "Listen."

RS Mr. Conductor: "Warned Abe."

Abe Simpson: "The mountain road is difficult. I'll lead."

Cat: "No."

RS Mr. Conductor: "Replied Cat."

Cat: "I'll lead. How can I learn the route with you lumbering ahead and blocking the view?"

Abe Simpson: "Suit yourself."

RS Mr. Conductor: "Said Abe."

Abe Simpson: "But never mind the view. Look at the path."

RS Mr. Conductor: "The characters set off."

Abe Simpson: "Look at the path."

RS Mr. Conductor: "Puffed Abe."

Abe Simpson: "Never mind the view."

Cat: "Fusspot, fusspot!"

RS Mr. Conductor: "Replied Cat."

Cat: "Fuddy-duddy, fuddy-duddy, fuddy-duddy!"

RS Mr. Conductor: "The character' speed grew slower and slower."

Cat: "Don't dawdle, don't dawdle!"

RS Mr. Conductor: "Urged Cat."

Abe Simpson: "No hurry, no hurry."

RS Mr. Conductor: "Puffed Abe.

Soon they approach the tunnel. Cat didn't like the tunnel. It was curved and he couldn't see."

Cat: "I want to get out! I want to get out!"

RS Mr. Conductor: "He sighed. One moment, everything seemed safe. But then suddenly...

Cat hung dangerously over the edge.

Abe bravely held on with all of his strength."

Abe Simpson: "Stop shaking!"

RS Mr. Conductor: "He called."

Abe Simpson: "I can't hold you if you shake."

RS Mr. Conductor: "Abe's driver and fireman worked quickly to make the two characters safe again.

Then came more trouble."

Abe's Fireman: "Water!"

RS Mr. Conductor: "Cried Abe's fireman."

Abe's Fireman: "Abe needs water quickly!"

RS Mr. Conductor: "Luckily there was a workman's cottage nearby. Soon everyone was passing jugs, buckets, kettles and saucepans filled with water until Abe's thirst was quenched. All the while, Abe was building more strength. At last, with everyone's help, he was able to pull Cat back onto the path.

Then they started off once more.

Captain Star was waiting at the top station. He apologized with the accident."

Passengers: "Your Abe,"

RS Mr. Conductor: "Said the passengers."

Passengers: "is a hero. He stood firm like a bulldog and wouldn't like go."

RS Mr. Conductor: "Cat was grateful too."

Cat: "Thank you for saving me, Abe. I don't know why you bothered after I've been so rude."

Abe Simpson: "Oh well,"

RS Mr. Conductor: "Replied Abe."

Abe Simpson: "You just had some new fur. It would've been a pity if you felled down the mountain and spoiled them."
