Buster and the Breakdown Crane, retitled Buster Saves the Day for American audiences, is the seventh episode of Buster the Bunny and Friends. It is a parody of the Thomas and Friends episode Thomas and the Breakdown Train/Thomas Saves the Day (Season 1).

Transcript[]
Narrator: "Every day, King Acorn came to the station to see the animals."
King Acorn: "Hello."
Narrator: "He always said to Buster."
King Acorn: "Remember, don't be impatient, Buster. You can never be as strong and fast as Knuckles, but you can be a really useful rabbit. Don't let the silly Perfectoids tease you.
Narrator: "There were lots of Perfectoids, and Buster worked very hard pushing and pulling them into place. There was also a small trailer and two strange things his animator called cranes."
Buster's Animator: "That's the breakdown crane."
Narrator: "He told Buster."
Buster's Animator: "The cranes are for lifting heavy things, like animals, swans, and Perfectoids."
Narrator: "One day, Buster was in the yard. Suddenly, he heard a duck screaming."
Plucky: "Help! Help!"
Narrator: "A duck came rushing through, much too fast. The duck was Plucky, and he was frightened. His webbed feet were on fire."
Plucky: "They're pushing me, they're pushing me!"
Narrator: "He panted."
Perfectoids: "On, on, on!"
Narrator: "Laughed the Perectoids.
Still screaming,"
Plucky: "Help! Help!"
Narrator: "Poor Plucky disappeared."
Buster: "I'd like to teach those Perfectoids a lesson."
Narrator: "Said Buster Bunny.
Soon came the alarm."
Buster's Animator: "Plucky's off the line, the breakdown crane, quickly!"
Narrator: "Buster grabbed the crane, and off they went.
Buster worked his hardest."
Buster: "Hurry, hurry, hurry!"
Narrator: "He puffed. He wasn't pretending to be like Knuckles; he really meant it."
Buster: "Bother those Perfectoids and their tricks. I hope poor Plucky isn't hurt."
Narrator: "Plucky's animator was feeling him all over, to see if he was hurt."
Plucky's Animator: "Never mind, Plucky."
Narrator: "He said."
Plucky's Animator:" It wasn't your fault. It was those webbed feet they gave you. We always said they were no good."
Narrator: "Buster pushed the breakdown crane alongside. Then he pulled the unhurt perfectoids out of the way."
Perfectoids: "Oh, dear, oh, dear!"
Narrator: "They groaned."
Buster: "Serves you right, serves you right!"
Narrator: "Puffed Buster.
He was hard at work, puffing backwards and forwards all day."
Buster: "This will teach you a lesson. This will teach you a lesson."
Narrator: "He told the Perfectoids.
And they answered,"
Perfectoids: "Yes it will, yes it will."
Narrator: "They left the broken Perfectoids, then with two cranes, they put Plucky back on the line.
He tried to move, but he couldn't, so Buster helped him back home.
King Acorn was waiting anxiously for them."
King Acorn: "Well, Buster,"
Narrator: "He said,"
King Acorn: "I've heard all about it, and I'm very pleased with you. You're a really useful rabbit.
Plucky shall have some proper feet and a new coat of feathers, and you shall have a forest all to yourself."
Buster: "Oh, thank you, sir!"
Narrator: "Said Buster.
Now Buster is as happy as can be. He has a forest, and two ducks called Gracie and Gladys. He puffs proudly backwards and forwards with them all day.
He is never lonely. Sonic and Rotor stop quite often and tell him the news.
Knuckles is always in a hurry, but never forgets to whistle to Buster, and Buster always whistles, in return."
