|Description||A nice, big cannon!|
|Class||none / Standard|
|Games||Battle Network 1|
Cannon is about as basic a chip as you can find in the Battle Network series. Not only is it the first chip in the Library, it's also the first chip you'll get to use in the game (the tutorial battle requires you to use the Cannon in the first wave). Cannon and its variants HiCannon and M-Cannon appear in all game iterations in the Battle Network series. This chip is based on the data from the virus Canodumb.
The attack pattern of Cannon is simple: It will fire straight forward, and the first (if any) enemy in the line of fire will take 40 damage. Cannon is capable of Advancing to both Z-Canon1 (by lining up three consecutive-code Cannon chips) and O-Canon1 (by lining up five). Both of these chips use the Cannon technique, though the armcannon will appear blue instead of green.
