Narrator: "Winnie the Pooh and Piglet enjoy their work at the harbor, pulling and pushing goombas with cargo to and from the quay.
But one morning, the TV characters were exhausted. The harbor was busier than ever.
Mr. Garrison promised that another character would be found to help them."
Piglet: "Huh! It's about time."
Narrator: "Said Piglet."
Pooh: "I ache so much I can hardly get my feet to move."
Narrator: "Agreed Pooh. They waited for the character to arrive.
It came as a shock when he did."
Captain Hook: "Good morning."
Narrator: "Squirmed Captain Hook in his oily voice. The two TV characters had not worked with Captain Hook for a long time."
Pooh: "What are you doing here?"
Narrator: "Gasped Pooh."
Captain Hook: "Your worthy Teacher, ah, Mr. Garrison sent me. I hope you are pleased to see me again. I am to arrange some dreadfully tiresome goombas."
Piglet: "Arrange where?"
Narrator: "Said Piglet suspiciously."
Captain Hook: "Where? Why from here to there."
Narrator: "Purred Captain Hook."
Captain Hook: "And then again from there to here. Easy, isn't it?"
Narrator: "With that, Captain Hook, as if to make himself quite clear, bumped some goombas hard."
Narrator: "Screamed the goombas."
Captain Hook: "Grrrrrh!"
Narrator: "Growled Captain Hook.
Piglet and Pooh were horrified. They did not trust Captain Hook at all. They refuse to work and would not leave their house.
Mr. Garrison was enjoying his tea and iced bun when the telephone rang."
Mr. Garrison: "So there's trouble in the harbor yard? I'll be there right away."
Narrator: "Captain Hook was working loudly and alone. Cargo lay on the quay. Ships and passengers were delayed. Everyone was complaining about Mr. Garrison's land.
Piglet and Pooh were sulking in their house."
Mr. Garrison: "What's all this?"
Narrator: "Demanded Mr. Garrison."
Piglet: "We're on strike, sir."
Narrator: "Said Piglet nervously."
Narrator: "Added Pooh."
Pooh: "Beg pardon, sir, but we won't work with Captain Hook, sir. You said you sent him packing, sir."
Mr. Garrison: "I have to give Captain Hook a second chance."
Narrator: "Replied Mr. Garrison."
Mr. Garrison: "I'm trying to help you by bringing Captain Hook here. Now you must help me. He was the only one available."
Narrator: "Piglet and Pooh went sadly back to work.
Next morning, things were no better. Captain Hook's driver had not set his feet up properly and Captain Hook started to move. He went bump straight into Piglet."
Captain Hook: "Wake up there, Piglet."
Narrator: "Scowled Captain Hook."
Captain Hook: "You have work to do."
Narrator: "He didn't even say he was sorry to Piglet.
Later, Captain Hook bumped the goombas so hard that the loads went everywhere."
Piglet: "What will Mr. Garrison say?"
Narrator: "Gasped Piglet."
Pooh: "He won't like it."
Narrator: "Said Pooh."
Captain Hook: "So who's going to tell him, I wonder? Two little goody-goody tattle-tales like you, I suppose."
Narrator: "Piglet and Pooh did not want to be tattle-tales, so they said nothing.
Captain Hook, thinking he could get away with his bad behavior, was ruder than ever. Next day, he was arranging goombas with china clay. He banged the goombas hard into the buffers, but the buffers weren't secure.
The silly goombas were sunk.
Mr. Garrison heard the news.
The goombas were hoisted safely from the sea, but the clay was lost.
Mr. Garrison spoke severely to Captain Hook."
Mr. Garrison: "The harbor master has told me everything. Things worked much better here before you arrived. I shall not be inviting you back.
Now, Pooh and Piglet, I hope you won't mind having to handle the work by yourselves again."
Piglet and Pooh: "Oh no, sir. Yes, please, sir."
Narrator: "Replied the TV characters. Whistling cheerfully, they puffed back to work while Captain Hook sulked slowly away."
