Charmeleon (Rizaado in the Japanese) is the evolved form of Charmander. It has an enhanced tail flame and stats.
The name Charmeleon comes from the words Char and Chameleon, though Charmeleon is not a chameleon, it's more of a lizard, it seems Nintendo Europe named it Charmeleon. They could have called it Charguana, a play on the words Char and Iguana... It's an idea!
Charmeleon evolves from Charmander at Level 16. The evolution chain for Charmeleon and above goes like this:
At Level 36 it evolves into Charizard.
Weaknesses, Resistances and Immunities
Weaknesses do double damage if one type is weak to the attack, and quadruple the damage if both types are. If one type is weak and the other is strong to the attack, then it does normal damage. If one type is strong to the atatck, then it does half the damage, and if both are, then it does a quarter of the damage.
