Cheese Sandwich's Buffaloes, re-titled A Big Day for Cheese Sandwich for American audiences, is the fifth episode of Cheese Sandwich the Earth Pony and Friends. It is a parody of the Thomas and Friends episode, Thomas' Train/A Big Day for Thomas.

Transcript[]
Narrator: "Cheese Sandwich the Earth Pony was grumbling to the other animals."
Cheese Sandwich: "I spend my time pulling buffaloes about, ready for you to take out on journeys."
Narrator: "The other animals laughed."
Cheese Sandwich: "Why can't I take passengers, too?"
Big McIntosh: "You're too impatient."
Narrator: "They said."
Big McIntosh: "You'd be sure to leave something behind."
Cheese Sandwich: "Rubbish!"
Narrator: "Said Cheese Sandwich."
Cheese Sandwich: "I'll show you."
Narrator: "One night, he and Zephyr Breeze were alone. Zephyr Breeze was ill. The men worked hard, but he didn't get better.
He felt just as bad next morning. Zephyr Breeze usually took the first passengers, and Cheese Sandwich had to get his buffaloes ready."
Cheese Sandwich: "If Zephyr Breeze is ill,"
Narrator: "He thought."
Cheese Sandwich: Perhaps I shall take his buffaloes."
Narrator: "Cheese Sandwich ran to find the buffaloes."
Cheese Sandwich: "Come along, come along!"
Narrator: "He fussed."
Buffaloes: "There's plenty of time, there's plenty of time."
Narrator: "They grumbled.
Cheese Sandwich took them to the platform, and wanted to run around in front at once.
But his driver wouldn't let him."
Cheese Sandwich's Driver: "Don't be impatient, Cheese Sandwich!"
Narrator: "Cheese Sandwich waited and waited.
People got on board, the conductor and stationmaster walked up and down, the porter secured the buffaloes, and still, Zephyr Breeze didn't come. Cheese Sandwich got more and more excited.
Princess Celestia came to see what was the matter, and the conductor and the stationmaster told him about Zephyr Breeze."
Princess Celestia: "Find another animal."
Narrator: "She ordered."
Conductor and Stationmaster: "There's only Cheese Sandwich."
Narrator: "They said."
Princess Celestia: "You'll have to do it then, Cheese Sandwich. Be quick now."
Narrator: "So Cheese Sandwich ran round to the front and back down on the buffaloes ready to start."
Cheese Sandwich's Driver: "Let's not be impatient, Cheese Sandwich."
Narrator: "Said his driver."
Cheese Sandwich's Driver: "We'll wait till everything is ready."
Narrator: "But Cheese Sandwich was too excited to listen.
What happened then, nobody knows. Perhaps the first buffalo forgot to grab Cheese Sandwich, or perhaps Cheese Sandwich was given the signal by mistake. Anyhow, Cheese Sandwich started without his buffaloes. As they passed the first signal tower, men waved and shouted, but he didn't stop."
Cheese Sandwich: "They're waving because I'm such a splendid pony.
Narrator: "He thought importantly."
Cheese Sandwich: "Zephyr Breeze says it's hard to pull buffaloes, but I think it's easy.
Hurry, hurry, hurry!"
Narrator: "He puffed, pretending to be like Big Mac."
Cheese Sandwich: "People have never seen me taking passengers before. It's nice of them to wave."
Narrator: "And he whistled."
Cheese Sandwich: "Thank you."
Narrator: "Then he came to a signal at 'Danger'."
Cheese Sandwich: "Bother!"
Narrator: "He said."
Cheese Sandwich: "I must stop, and I was going so nicely, too! What a nuisance signals are."
Narrator: "He blew an angry whistle.
The signalman ran up."
Signalman: "Hello, Cheese Sandwich."
Narrator: "He said."
Signalman: "What are you doing here?"
Cheese Sandwich: "I'm pulling buffaloes."
Narrator: "Said Cheese Sandwich."
Cheese Sandwich: "Can't you see?"
Signalman: "Where are your buffaloes, then?"
Narrator: "Cheese Sandwich looked back."
Cheese Sandwich: "Why, bless me!"
Narrator: "He said."
Cheese Sandwich: "If we haven't left them behind!"
Signalman: "Yes."
Narrator: "Said the signalman."
Signalman: "You'd better go back quickly and fetch them."
Narrator: "Poor Cheese Sandwich was so sad, he nearly cried.
Cheese Sandwich's Driver: "Cheer up."
Narrator: "Said his driver."
Cheese Sandwich's Driver: "Let's go back quickly and try again."
Narrator: "At the station, all the passengers were talking at once. They were telling Princess Celestia what a bad place Ponyville was. But when Cheese Sandwich came back, they saw how sad he was, and couldn't be cross.
He held on to the buffaloes, and this time he really pulled them.
Afterwards, the other animals laughed at Cheese Sandwich and said,"
Zephyr Breeze and Flash Sentry: "Look, there's Cheese Sandwich, who wanted to take some passengers, but forgot about the buffaloes!"
Narrator: "But Cheese Sandwich had already learned not to make the same mistake again."
