The trip goes from 7/18 to 7/20 (2 nights stay of Friday and Saturday). It's a little over a hundred miles from DuPage county. We'll figure out logistics of caravans later on, but will probably two or three separate groups leaving from the area.
You may want to read below first to get details, then come back to answer these questions: Each family MUST make two decisions and get back to me as soon as possible: 1) do you want to stay in a cabin or in a tent on a campsite? 2) who do you want on your site, or do you want me to choose randomly? (which it will be if I do not hear otherwise)
Additional info: 1. I may not have a complete list... let me know who needs to be added: akashmehta3@yahoo.com bhansalicam@yahoo.com dabrownie929@yahoo.com mggandhi@gmail.com ajmehta@gmail.com jgandhi575@sbcglobal.net narendradmehta@yahoo.com sujit.patel@gmail.com ssham1863@yahoo.com anujakanakia@hotmail.com krisna_mehta@yahoo.com tmmehta@yahoo.com tvakharia@hotmail.com tmmrph@gmail.com dhimant.doshi@gmail.com nitinmehtaus@yahoo.com chiragdoshi72@yahoo.com meera717@sbcglobal.net shalin.gandhi@gmail.com skbhavs@hotmail.com ddoshi02@gmail.com anilmeh@spray.com yasmehta@yahoo.com dhruvsheth@hotmail.com setup623@yahoo.com bdoshi1@gmail.com rxpriti@yahoo.com Tarak_priti@sbcglobal.net nitu95@yahoo.com iviral@yahoo.com doshinirav@yahoo.com
2. There are two types of accommodations: cabin and campsite.
- Cabin - sleeps upto 8 people, has Air Conditioning. Bathrooms and
Kitchens are not available. $100/night. Does not include sheets, pillows, etc. (kids ages are irrelevant)
- Campsite - has water and electric hookups - standard rate is
$27/night for 2 adults and 4 children. Maximum occupancy is 8 individuals. For each additional adult after the 2 that are included, it's $5/night. Does not include Tent. Up to two tents are allowed per site (so you can have two families of 4 share one site to make 8 total). (kids ages will matter)
- children are those 17 and under
- all prices do not include tax
- quiet hours are 11PM to 8AM, but I tried getting locations such that
we should be away from other parties.
- there is a fire ring at each site
- as we book more and more sites, it may be possible that we're not all
next to each other, but still will be within short walking distance at worst. Right now, most sites are adjacent to one another.
3. Each site (cabin or campground) allows 1 vehicle to park free of
charge, and up to 1 additional is allowed for $2/night per site.
4. Amusement park and Water park:
- There is free transportation to and from the water park (open 11AM to 11PM)
- combo pass for both parks is $33/day for those 48" and above, $26 for under 48"
- there is a discount for passes to either park if you want to go for
multiple days... look online for more info.
- this will be paid by you directly at the park, IF YOU CHOOSE to
participate... it is NOT mandatory.
5. There are a total of 6 adjacent cabins and 6 adjacent campsites we have - as you can see, 2 cabins and 6 camp groups are already accounted for. Keep in mind though, that there are TWO tents allowed per campsite, and up to eight people, so if it comes down to it, I WILL ASSIGN ANOTHER TENT TO YOUR CAMPSITE AND YOU WILL SHARE THE SITE AND FIRE RING (but not the tent) with another family. If that's a problem, let me know and I may be able to accommodate you. The other option is if you must have a campsite for just your family, you may be located away from the rest of the group.
