[edit] Foundation of the Chrkha League
In 12038, Chrkha Vrshakh was elected president of Hrikha, the largest nation on the planet of Srrah. He raised taxes and began allocating vast sums of money to fund a secret military. In 12042, his military had grown to 984,262,141 and he deemed his time had come. He quickly launched a massive full-scale invasion of the rest of Srrah, and, within two years, all of Srrah and the Ravahha species were under his control. Once in power, Vrshakh abolished the Hrikha Republic and proclaimed himself Director of the Circle of Ravahha, a position which gave him absolute totalitarian control of the planet and its inhabitants. He named his empire the Chrkha League and replaced the senate of his nation with the Circle of Ravahha, a group of lifelong rulers which did anything he commanded.

The nationalistic people of Srrah hailed Vrshakh not as a dictator but as a revolutionary new leader that would lead them to full control of the Serpent Universe. A few groups of dissenters mysteriously entirely vanished. Soon, many citizens began to join the new League Starfleet. Nearly all production on Srrah was halted and replaced by military industry. By 12053, over half of the planet's population was enlisted in the military, and the remainder was only producing necessities, starships, and weaponry.
Before long, the starfleet mobilized. Spies on Tyor, a nearby planet that served as a key point along a hyperlane, sabotaged the planet's spaceships while the League Starfleet arrived and surrounded it. Thousands of landing parties were sent to Tyor, quickly forcing the enemy army to surrender and securing the planet for the Chrkha League. Subsequent invasions were launched in 12059 and 12078 at Tsibinish and Alkazun. Both were victories for Vrshakh and his fleet, and at each new conquered world, one fourth of the population was impressed into military service, while the others were forced to produce military supplies.
[edit] Assassination of Vrshakh
In 12098, Vrshakh was visiting the conquered world of Alkazun. As his caravan progressed through the main street of the capital, several bombs detonated to the right, dispersing the crowd gathered. Vrshakh's bodyguards left his side to investigate the causes of the explosion and to confirm that Vrshakh was not in danger. Ironically, militant nationalists ambushed Vrshakh while he was unprotected. He was killed by several plasma grenades. He was succeeded by his son, Krashhur Vrshakh.
