Surgery
- First surgery removed as many tumors in abdomen as surgeon could find. (10 lbs.)
- Turned down for second surgery as MD Anderson decided too difficult: have to comb through every centimeter of abdomen for residual tumors, after they remove the two tumors and the two nodes left. Need to crack ribs so they can get to the last tumor on diaphragm. Would not be able to do the intraperitoneal hypthermic chemoperfusion at the same time.
Chemotherapy:
- First Line:
- Adriamycin (Doxorubicin) : constant 72 hour drip, days 1-3
- Ifosfamide (Ifex) : 1 hour per day, days 1-4
- Vincristine : 1 syringe, day 1
- Second Line:
- Docetaxel (Taxotere) & Gemcitabine (Gemzar)
- Third Line:
- Cisplatnum & Etoposide
- Fourth Line:
- Irinotecan
- Fifth Line:
- Darcarbazine (DTIC) & Adriamycin (Doxorubicin)
