This wiki was created by the graduate speech language pathology students in the course on Cognitive Linguistic Disorders, taught by Sandra Glista, MS, CCC-SLP, and Elaine DeRoover, MA, CCC-SLP, as a hybrid online course at Western Michigan University, Spring semester 2007.
Topics covered are the cognitive (attention, memory, executive function) and linguistic skills affected during the process of normal aging, as well as dementia, right hemisphere disorders, and traumatic brain injury.
Students have here posted resource material for themselves and other SLPs to use when working with clients in these areas.
