Cranky Bugs & Other Stories is a fan-fiction Thomas US VHS Release featuring one Season 3 episode, one Season 4 episode and five Season 5 episodes narrated by Ringo Starr and one song. This was distributed by Strand VCI Entertainment in 1998, Warner Home Video in 1998, Time-Life in 2000, Video Treasures on 2003 and Anchor Bay Entertainment in 2008.

Trivia

    • In the Strand VCI/Strand Home Video/Time-Life/blooper/Video Treasures versions, a "Put Upon Percy" still picture is used.
  • The 2000 release, despite being distributed by Strand Home Video, still displays the Strand VCI logo at the beginning.

Goofs

  • The Strand VCI/Strand Home Video/Time-Life/Video Treasures versions of the front cover have a picture from the Barney/Thomas/Go!Animate crossover film "Who Framed Steve Pwnsom?" (since Thomas and his friends are in that movie with large roles, like Barney and his friends), but that movie isn't on this video.
  • The Warner Home Video version of the end credits use a still from "Percy, James & The Fruitful Day", but that episode wasn't in this video.
