Sometimes it's best just to sit there, don't do anything but what takes you, and that gradually. Forget everything, just sit and devote your attention to what grabs you, and do it. Do it as you see fit, no boundaries, no restrictions. Chill.
Do it with not a sense of excitement or even happiness, but a nearly melancholy, inward, totally absorbed sense of self is the emotional state you should aim for, where all that matters is the completion of the work, not for personal gratitude, not for applause, but for the mere fact of completing this thing, whatever it is.
