This is not a real Sesame Episode. This is a scratchpad Sesame Episode.

Do not confuse this episode with 3146. That is not a repeat of 3071, since:

  • It features Jamal and Ruthie in the show
  • It sponsors by A, V, and 18
  • Bananas isn't mentioned as a sponsor at the end

Segments

  • Cold Open: Joey and Davey Monkey appear and display the sponsors (which they knock off the fence by accident). But, the most important thing they announce will be on Sesame Street today is: BANANAS!
  • Scene 1: In his nest area, Big Bird paints a picture when Davey and Joey discover him and mistake him for a giant banana (because he’s yellow). He sings a song to them to explain he’s "Not a Banana". The monkeys head off afterward to find some bananas.

Ernie is now ready to write a story, but instead, he leaves everything set out for when he gets an idea.
  • Muppets: Big Bird yells "Amazing"
  • Muppet and Kid Moments: Ernie and Bert talk about the letter X.
  • Scene 2: Davey and Joey swing back and forth, calling out to any available bananas. Suddenly, Joey thinks he sees some bananas coming…
  • Cartoon: A story/song about a duckling who wants to join the others playing at the water's edge.
  • Davey points out that the film was about ducks, not bananas. Joey then hears a growling noise, which is Davey’s stomach. He then hears another noise, thinking it's bananas, but Davey claims it just a train. They run off too early to see that the train is actually a banana with train parts.
