The Diamond Mountain Trail is the shortest marked trail in Harriman State Park. The only place notable of mention is the foundation of the old CCC Building.
Mileposts 0.0 - 0.25
The Diamond Mountain Trail begins at the red square-on-white blazed Pine Meadow Trail at the foot of Diamond Mountain. The trail goes northwest up the steep mountain where the Tower Trail goes to the northeast. 0.25 of a mile from the start, the Diamond Mountain Trail ends at the Seven Hills and Hillburn-Torne Sebago Trails. If you go .35 of a mile up the two trails, you'll reach the site of the old Diamond Mountain Fire Tower. The tower was destroyed in 1986.
Although the name of the builder was not recorded, the trail first was marked in 1939.
