- Ringo Starr: Everyday, Mickey Mouse came to the station to see the Disney characters.
- Mickey Mouse: Hello.
- Ringo Starr: He always said to Pongo.
- Mickey Mouse: Remember, don't be impatient, Pongo. You can never be as strong and fast as Sir Ector, but you can be a really useful dalmatian. Don't let the silly pirates tease you.
- Ringo Starr: There were lots of pirates, and Pongo worked very hard pushing and pulling them into place. There was also a small trailer and two strange things his animator called cranes.
- Pongo's Animator: That's the breakdown crane.
- Ringo Starr: He told Pongo.
- Pongo's Animator: The cranes are for lifting heavy things like people, animals and machines.
- Ringo Starr: One day, Pongo was in the yard. Suddenly, he heard a duck screaming.
- Donald Duck: Help! Help!
- Ringo Starr: A duck came rushing through, much too fast. The duck was Donald, and he was frightened. His feet were on fire.
- Donald Duck: They're pushing me, they're pushing me!
- Ringo Starr: He painted.
- Pirates: On, on, on!
- Ringo Starr: Laughed the pirates. Still screaming,
- Donald Duck: Help! Help!
- Ringo Starr: Poor Donald disappeared.
- Pongo: I'd like to teach those pirates a lesson.
- Ringo Starr: Said Pongo the Dalmatian. Soon came the alarm.
- Pongo's Animator: Donald's off the road, the breakdown crane, quickly!
- Ringo Starr: Pongo was hooked on, and off they went. Pongo worked his hardest.
- Pongo: Hurry, hurry, hurry!
- Ringo Starr: He said. He wasn't pretending to be like Sir Ector; He really meant it.
- Pongo: Bother those pirates and their tricks. I hope poor Donald isn't hurt.
- Ringo Starr: Donald's Animator was feeling all over to see if he was hurt.
- Donald Duck's Animator: Never mind, Donald.
- Ringo Starr: he said.
- Donald Duck's Animator: It wasn't your fault. It was those feet they gave you. We always said they were no good.
- Ringo Starr: Pongo pushed the breakdown crane alongside. Then he pulled the unhurt pirates out of the way.
- Pirates: Oh dear, oh dear!
- Ringo Starr: They groaned.
- Pongo: Serves you right, serves you right!
- Ringo Starr: Said Pongo. He was hard at work going backwards and fowards all afternoon.
- Pongo: This will teach you a lesson. This will teach you a lesson.
- Ringo Starr: He told the pirates. And they answered,
- Pirates: Yes it will, Yes it will.
- Ringo Starr: They left the broken pirates, then with two cranes, they put Donald back on the road. He tried to move, but he couldn't, so Pongo helped him back home. Mickey Mouse was waiting anxiously for them.
- Mickey Mouse: Well Pongo,
- Ringo Starr: He said.
- Mickey Mouse: I've heard all about it and I'm very pleased with you. You're a really useful dalmatian. Donald shall have some proper feet and new feathers, and you shall have a dog park all to yourself.
- Pongo: Oh, thank you, sir!
- Ringo Starr: Said Pongo. Now Pongo is as happy as can be. He has a dog park, and two ducks called Abigial & Ameila. He works proudly backwards and forwards with them all day. He is never lonely. Hercules and Baloo stop quite often and tell him the news. Sir Ector is always in a hurry, but never forgets to say,
- Sir Ector: Hello.
- Ringo Starr: And Pongo always says,
- Pongo: Hello,
- Ringo Starr: In return.
