Plot

  • From the creators of Courage The Cowardly Dog and Annie The Smart and Genius Girl, the show resolves on Jacob Nathaniel Hanson (voiced by Tara Strong). He lives in his house with his older sister Julie Hanson (voiced by Stephanie Morgenstern) and his parents Eliza Hanson (voiced by Grey DeLisle) and Arnold Hanson (voiced by Peter Kelamis). He has best friends like Smit (voiced by Samuel Vincent) and Henchman (voiced by Jason Marsden) and is smitten with a young girl named Heather Rogers (voiced by Kath Soucie) whose older brother and parents are Robert Rogers (Julie's boyfriend, voiced by Michael Reisz), Kayla Rogers (voiced by Katie Griffin) and Stanley Rogers (voiced by Greg Cipes). He also has a nemesis named Madman (voiced by Steven Blum) and is rivals with Ricky Valentine (voiced by Brianne Siddall) whose older sister and parents are Millie Valentine (voiced by Susan Roman), Ellie Valentine (voiced by Janyse Jaud) and Peter Valentine (voiced by Rino Romano). Premiering on September 29, 2001, the series is produced by Klasky Csupo in association with Hanna Barbera. It is currently in its 13th Season and shown on Cartoon Network. It premiered the same year as Life With Ally.
