Narrator: "The Queen's work in the countryside was full of surprises, but she was frightened of bulls and cows, and she remained very lazy and stubborn.

One day, Bashful brought Winifred to the station where Dopey was grumpily shunting."

Bashful: "Hello, Dopey. I see The Queen's left the milk behind again."

Dopey: "I'll have to make a special journey with it, I suppose. Anyone would think I'd nothing to do!"

Narrator: "Grumbled Dopey."

Bashful: "Tell you what,"

Narrator: "Replied Bashful."

Bashful: "I'll take the milk, you fetch my pirates."

Narrator: "The drivers and Stationmaster agreed.

Dopey had never been to the quarry before. He began ordering the pirates about."

Dopey: "Hurry along!"

Narrator: "He said.

The Pirates grumbled to each other."

Pirates: "This is Bashful's place! Dopey's got no right to poke his head in here and push us around."

Narrator: "They whispered and passed the word.

Pirates: "Pay Dopey out! Pay Dopey out!"

Dopey: "Come along,"

Narrator: "Said Dopey."

Dopey: "No nonsense!"

Pirates: "We'll give him nonsense!"

Narrator: "Giggled the pirates.

But they followed so quitely, that Dopey thought they were under control.

Suddenly, they saw a notice ahead;

All dwarfs must stop to pin down brakes."

Dopey: "Peep peep! Brakes, guard, please!"

Narrator: "But before he could check them, the pirates surged ahead."

Pirates: "On! On!"

Narrator: "They yelled."

Dopey: "Help! Help!"

Narrator: "Whistled Dopey.

The man on duty rushed to warn traffic with his red flag, but was too late to switch Dopey to the runaway siding.

Frantically trying to grip the road, Dopey slid into the yard."

Dopey: "Peep peep! Look out!"

Narrator: "Dopey's driver and fireman had jumped clear, but Dopey was stranded.

Next Day, Walt Disney arrived. Bashful and the Queen had helped to clear the wreckage, but Dopey remained on his perch of pirates."

Walt Disney: "We must now try,"

Narrator: "Said Walt Disney,"

Walt Disney: "To run the mine with Bashful and the queen. You have put us in an awkward predicament, Dopey."

Dopey: "I am sorry, sir."

Narrator: "Said Dopey."

Walt Disney: "You can stay there til we are ready. Perhaps it will teach you be careful with pirates."

Narrator: "Dopey sighed. The pirates groaned beneath his feet. He quite understood about awkward predicaments.

Walt Disney spoke severely to The Queen, too."

Walt Disney: "My characters work hard. I send lazy characters away."

Narrator: "The Queen was ashamed."

Walt Disney: "However, Bashful says you worked hard after Dopey's accident, so you shall have another chance."

The Queen: "Thank you, Sir. I will work hard. Bashful says he'll help me."

Walt Disney: "Excellent. What Bashful doesn't know about mine problems isn't worth knowing. Our Bashful's an experienced dwarf."

Narrator: "Next day, Doc came back, and Dopey was sent to be mended.

Young Nala and Young Kiara were delighted to see Doc again, and he took them for a run at once.

All are now friends, and Bashful has taught the Queen a great deal. She shooed a cow off the line the other day all by herself. That shows you, doesn't it?"
