Narrator: "Elmyra is a human who works for the Acme Quarry Company, tackling Perfectoids in their sidings. She has red hair, with a bow with a skull in the middle.
Elmyra is young, and full of her own ideas. She loves rearranging things, too, and began putting Bugs' Perfectoids in different places every day. This made Bugs cross."
Narrator: "He grumbled,"
Bugs: "should be where you want them, when you want them!"
Narrator: "Said Elmyra, and flounced away.
At last, Bugs lost patience."
Bugs: "I can't waste time playing 'Hunt the Perfectoids' with you, take them yourself!"
Narrator: "Elmyra was pleased. Taking Perfectoids made her feel important.
At the station, Montana Max oiled up to her."
Elmyra: "Bugs is an old fusspot!"
Narrator: "She complained.
Monty sensed trouble, and was delighted.
Elmyra: "Bugs says only rabbits can manage Perfectoids!"
Narrator: "Continued Elmyra."
Montana Max: "How absurd."
Narrator: "Squirmed Monty."
Montana Max: "Depend upon it, Elmyra, anything rabbits can do, we humans can do better."
Narrator: "Monty knew nothing about Perfectoids, but Elmyra didn't realize this.
Bugs' line crosses the main road behind the station, and for a short way, follows a farm lane. Frosty weather makes the muddy lane rock-hard and very slippery.
Bugs stops before reaching the line. His animator halts the traffic at the crossing, and then he sets off again. By using the heavy Perfectoids to push him along, he has no trouble with the frosty mud in the lane, and across the road. It is the only safe thing to do in this kind of weather.
Bugs warned Elmyra, and told her just what to do.
Elmyra: "I can manage, thank you."
Narrator: "She replied."
Elmyra: "I'm not an old fusspot like you."
Narrator: "The Perfectoids were tired of being pushed around by Elmyra."
Perfctoids: "It's slippery."
Narrator: "They whispered."
Perfectoids: "Let's push her around instead. On, on!"
Narrator: "They yelled.
Elmyra took no notice, instead, she took the Perfectoids carefully down the lane, and stopped at the level crossing.
All traffic halted."
Elmyra: "One in the head for fusspot Bugs!"
Narrator: "Chortled Elmyra.
But Elmyra had stopped in the wrong place. Instead of taking Bugs' advice, she had given the Perfectoids the chance they wanted."
Perfectoids: "Hold back! Hold Back!"
Narrator: "They cried."
Elmyra: "Grrr! Up!"
Narrator: "Ordered Elmyra.
The Perfectoids just laughed, and her feet stuck helplessly.
Animators sanded the ice, and tried to dig away the frozen mud, but it was no good.
Everyone was impatient.
Narrator: "Wailed Elmyra.
Bugs was in the yard when he heard the news."
Bugs: "I warned her."
Narrator: "He fumed."
Bugs' Animator: "She's young yet,"
Narrator: "Soothed his animator."
Bugs' Animator: "And..."
Bugs: "She can manage her Perfectoids herself!"
Narrator: "Interrupted Bugs."
Bugs' Animator: "They're your Perfectoids, really."
Narrator: "His animator replied."
Bugs' Animator: "Elmyra is supposed to stay at the quarry. If King Acorn finds out..."
Narrator: "He and his animator decided it would be best to help Elmyra after all.
An angry farmer was telling Elmyra just what she could do with her Perfectoids."
Bugs: "Having trouble, Elmyra?"
Narrator: "Laughed Bugs."
Bugs: "I am surprised."
Narrator: "Said Elmyra.
With much puffing and slippery feet, Bugs pushed Elmyra and the Perfectoids back. The hard work made his hart pound fiercely, and his animator spread hot cinders to melt the frozen mud.
At last, they finished."
Narrator: "Called Bugs."
Bugs: "You'll manage now, I expect."
Narrator: "Elmyra didn't answer.
She took the Perfctoids to the sheds, and scuttled back home as quickly as she could."
