Welcome to the Euler mini wiki at Scratchpad!
You can use the box below to create new pages for this mini-wiki. Make sure you type
[[Category:Euler]] on the page before you save it to make it part of the Euler wiki (preload can be enabled to automate this task, by clicking this link and saving that page. Afterwards, you may need to purge this page, if you still see this message).
This Euler wiki is a collaborative way of learning and teaching science. Each entry is a full-fledged didactical unit which you can edit. It is linked to some requirements, i.e.: units you should have mastered to profit from this one, and to a list of now reads.
Euler wiki is not a text-book: its structure is not linear. It is a network.
Contributors are asked to:
- Write didactically!!
- Put an emphasis in computer applications and computer-aided learning tools. After all, the reader has a computer at her/his fingertips!
- Add links to external stuff, and create extra material when needed: exercises, news, research projects... whatever.
The units are divided into themes: geometry, functions, mechanics, optics, etc. A unit may belong to more than one theme, of course, and inter-theme links are expected to occur often. In the full-fledged version of this wiki, they will become categories.
The original idea for this project was born in 2002, when the mantainer of this wiki opened the webpage Proyecto Euler in Spanish.
So enjoy reading and writing...
