[edit] Account Registration
- First, go here:
- Carefully read the terms of use (THAT WAS A JOKE), then click the red button to continue.
- Enter your email in the box and press the red button. (Yahoo accounts might not work)
- Confirm that this is, indeed, your email address, then click the red button. (This step might not be necessary)
- Check your email, and click the link in the message you have received.
- The fields to fill in are as follows:
- イマジンＩＤ : User ID. (The button next to it is used to confirm your ID's availability)
- パスワード : Password.
- パスワード（確認）: Confirm password.
- 秘密の質問 : (this is a drop down menu) Secret question.
- 秘密の質問の答え : Secret question answer.
- メールマガジンを : (2 radio buttons) Whether or not to receive the newsletter, yes is first, no is second.
- When you are done, click the red button as usual to advance.
- Confirm your account details and click the red button if they are satisfactory.
- The button on the right will take you to the user sign-in webpage; the button on the left will take you to the download page.
[edit] Downloading and patching the Client, and Applocale
[edit] Downloading the Client
- Visit this website:
- Click one of the "Download" buttons.
- The top one is the main download, the other two are mirrors. I'm not sure what the difference is.
- This will download the "MiLauncher" application, which is actually just an application that downloads the game installer. Launch this MiLauncher application, then hit "Install" to make it start downloading the setup. If you exit the program under any circumstances, the download will NOT be resumed, so tread lightly or let it go overnight.
[edit] Installing and Updating the Client
- Run the ImagineSetup.exe application. This wiki assumes you are familiar with the windows installer.
- After it is finished, you will need to update the client. Do this by running ImagineUpdate.exe, located in the folder you installed the game to.
- The default path is C:\Program Files\CAVE\MEGAMITENSEI IMAGINE\ImagineUpdate.exe
- ImagineUpdate.exe will open a window. The top portion of this window is an HTML document containing news, patch notes, et cetera. At least one assumes - it's all in moonrunes. In the bottom portion are two progress bars: the top bar is progress on the current file, the bottom bar is progress on the entire task.
- This goes for both downloading an update and checking the files.
- To the right are three buttons; a small top button, a small bottom button, and a larger right button.
- The top button is to check and verify the IMAGINE files.
- The bottom button is to bring up an options window for the client.
- This window has three drop-down menus: The top one I dunno (windowed/fullscreen maybe?), the middle one is to select rendering device, and the bottom is to choose resolution.
- The right button is to launch the game after patching is complete. Since you want to run the game using AppLocale, this button won't see much (if any) use.
- Once the update is complete, close the window.
[edit] Running the game with AppLocale
- Download and install Applocale from the Microsoft website.
- If you cannot get it from the Microsoft website for any reason, try looking for it on Rapidshare.

- Run AppLocale.
- Click "Next".
- Select "Launch an Application".
- Click "Browse".
- Navigate to ImagineClient.exe, in the same folder as ImagineUpdate.exe and select it.
- Click "Next".
- In the drop-down menu, select Japanese. It is the bottom option.
- Click "Next".
- Make sure the "Create a Shortcut" checkbox is checked. Type in whatever name you want the shortcut to have.
- Click "Finish". This will launch the game.
There will now be a shortcut called "ImagineClient" (by default) in the "AppLocale" folder in your Start menu. You can use this to run the game.
