Alberto Mattia Marchelli, also know as Mr. Marchelli and Remus, is a major villan from Nikipedia. Alberto is one incarnation of the vampire known as Niki Cassulo and represents his dark side. He is also the Original Timeline counterpart of Alberto Edoardo Marchelli.
History[]

Early years[]
After being born through Gemme's curse, Alberto spent centuries traveling the globe, and was almost killed in Julius Caesar's Gallic Wars, before traveling to the Roman province of Judea, but was soon forced to flee, due to the Jewish uprising against the Romans.
As a pagan, Alberto possessed a deep love of nature, and believed strongly in the natural laws of the earth, and respect for the power of the elements. As such, he developed an intense disdain for the human race, which he regarded as innately destructive and disrespectful of the environment. In order to counter what he saw as man kind's "race to oblivion"Alberto forged an allegiance with a pack of werewolves, providing them with his blood in exchange for their services as mercenaries. Beginning a shadow war against humanity which would last for millennium, Alberto set his wolves against countless human civilizations; decimating the Aztec people, causing the fall of Constantinople, and eventually turning his attention to the Vikings of Sweden.
Passing through a Viking community in the winter 900 AD Alberto meets with the Viking King Ulfrik Arotman, and requests the use of a few of Ulfrik's goats in order to feed his werewolf companions. Ulfrik refuses Alberto, enraging the ancient vampire, who returns later that same night, ordering his wolves to butcher the Arata family for daring to deny him, and taking Ulfrik's crown as a trophy. Ulfrik's son, Alberto was the sole survivor of the massacre, and although he fails to prevent Russell from fleeing he would dedicate his entire life to hunting down his families murderer.
At the height of World War II, Alberto aligned himself with the Nazis, lending them the services of his still loyal werewolf pack in exchange for helping to put a "dent" in the human population. Alberto was tracked to Ausberg, Germany by the now vampire Alberto Arata who was still seeking vengeance over the massacre of his family. Alberto was aided in his quest by his own maker, Simone, and while the two were able to kill one of Alberto's wolves their true target ultimately eluded them once again.
Final Battle with Riccardo[]
The fighters are ready.
After seeing destroyal brought by werewolves Alberto , Riccardo decided it was time to end the threat of Alberto, ona times for all. Taking advantage of the hatred that Alberto evidence against him Riccardo leads Alberto in an isolated area and declares that only One of them can leave this place.
Initially Alberto laughed at the idea and Riccardo greeted amicably before trying to leave and discover that they were trapped by a powerful spell performed by the fairies . Angry, Alberto began to threaten and mock that Richard defended his actions as " in the name of peace and sanity ." After hearing these words Alberto took flight and the two vampires began their final battle .
Riccardo falls to his death.
During the fight the two vampires discusero of how their lives were heavily influenced each other and Alberto expressed his pleasure to finally be able to fight face to face with his enemy , while Riccardo try to convinciere Alberto that his actions make it dangerous and self-destructive .
Their struggle was long and exhausting as they both had a level of strength and fighting ability . Realizing that they can not beat Riccardo, Alberto took him with him and take him to a cliff where the sun was rising, as the last act Alberto broke his neck and spine Riccardo effectively immobilizing him a little before throwing it towards the sun ray and his death.
Presumed death[]
Shortly before the Great Revelation Alberto found himself at the top of the Authority's "blood list", that is to say a list of vampires deemed as "problematic" to the mainstreaming movement.

His ascension to the top of the "blood list" remains unknown, but two factors in particular may have played a part. According to Mother Carla , Alberto had attempted to take control and form the Sanguinistas into an organized council similar to that of the Authority. His addition on the list could have also been a result of his violent actions toward humans throughout the centuries. Whatever the case, Chancellor and the Authority had him "buried" and he is believed to have met the true death. Mother refers to Alberto's disposal as Piana's last great act.

When Guglielmo and Arata are sentenced to death by the Guardian Lombardi , reveal that Alberto is still alive and in the wild (although in reality it is buried under the ground and immobilized ) . Stefano and Arata, trying to save their life , the Authority proposed to save their lives in exchange for their help in eliminating definitively Alberto.

Guglielmo and Arata set out in search of the vampire, confident that in her condition is too weak to defend themselves, and with the help of Aurora and Alessio discover that it was already freed by a member of the Authority. Alberto gripped by a rage for no reason attacks and injures the two younger vampires and begins to feed on the blood of Aurora but containing silver and makes Alberto unconscious . After being captured , Alberto is brought before Lombardi to be executed, but the ancient vampire has the upper hand and kills the Guardian.
Then Salome reveals that he actually Giulia Ravetti , the progeny of Alberto, and be responsible for its liberation. From that moment all the clerks and members of the Authority are given the choice , or follow the laws of Lilith or suffer the true death. Faced with this possibility everyone, including Arata and Stefano, drink the blood of their gods , and junkies are a bloodbath among humans , cracking , the already compromised , the relationship between humans and vampires .
The quest for Lilith[]
For subsequent months Alberto remained Authority as a guardian and during this time you begin to study the legends according to which the blood of Lilith, in large quantities , it could make a truly immortal vampire . In a desperate attempt to become more powerful and to get rid of his enemies, Alberto spent the next three years in an attempt to locate the current position of Lilith who turns out to be the north of Mexico .
Aware of being much weaker than Lisbeth , Alberto ambushes to his god blocking it during the day in an isolated house . Shortly before dawn , Alberto reaches its god, and after a brief discussion starts to feed on his blood. Arata, who in turn had followed Alberto in mexico trying to prevent him from killing Lisbeth , but after a brief struggle Alberto, who has already been made stronger by the blood of the god of the vampires , has the best assists as Alberto dries up and horrified Lisbeth around the his blood.
After you have finished drinking the blood of Lisbeth, Alberto throws his body in the light of the sun that is instantly burned by the flames. Shortly after Albert died, exploding in a pool of blood under the eyes of Arata. From the same pool, however, is a new Alberto even more powerful and evil than before. At that point, Arata is trying to escape.

Personality[]
Alberto smiles.
Alberto appears to be charming and polite, but that facade can be easily broken, revealing him to be manipulative and almost Machiavellian. He believes humans have squandered the Earth and believes in protecting the environment of vampires. However, his actions were constantly defined by his egotism.
A trait ironically shared with his nemesis, Riccardo, Alberto is quite fearless, due perhaps, to his power. In fact, he even smiles in the face of danger, apparently believing himself (albeit with good reason) to be safe from harm, going so far as to mock his would be attackers.
Alberto drew his personality and observations from the 'dark' dimensions of Niki's subconscious. This included his innermost thoughts and doubts about the course of his life and perhaps cavalier treatment of others, including self-loathing, guilt, arrogance, selfishness and even lust. He had a bit of a temper, and was prone to outbursts, but generally calm and collected.
Albert seems to know several languages. He occasionally speaks in an ancient Celt language, denoting his origins. He cursed Aurora in German and spoke to Guglielmo in Aramaic. He also enjoyed making fun of Guglielmo and his lack of common sense, something Niki was more subtle about.
Powers & Abilities[]
Alberto is over 800 years old, yet retains the appearance and health of a young man. When he is in his human form he looks completely normal. However, when he calls upon his powers or when he is thirsty for blood, his upper lateral incisors grow into fangs and his eyes turn black.
As a vampire, Alberto possessed all common vampire powers and weakness. Alberto can glamour people to do his bidding, answer any questions or make them forget about any recent events. He showed a remarkable resistance to sunlight when he sensed Giulia in trouble during daytime. He tried to save her, but in the end the sun proved too much and Alberto was severely burned. Alberto has shown that he can levitate to some degree.
Alberto is the only vampire that have the power to create powerful illusions. He is able to use these illusions on anyone he desires. They could of been used on multiple people in multiple locations simultaneously. His ability to cause illusions also allows him a form of shape-shifting, since he can cause beings to believe that they are seeing him in the form of another. He can project his illusions at any place or time.
He is also the only vampire known to be able to voice imitate, as seen when he imitates Mattia Focacci.
As a Maker he has the ability to call and command his progeny, Giulia Ravetti. She also has the ability to mentally summon Giulia, and shares an empathic bond with her.
