Willam Luckey (b. 1934) is an Animator, Writer, Illustrator and Composer, currently known for his work at Warner Bros., Pixar, DIC Entertainment and Walt Disney Animation Studios, who directed Sesame Street animated inserts and Counting films since 1971. Luckey composed the Songs for these shorts, in collaboration with co-lyricst Don Hadley, writing scripts for Madeline and provides the balladeer-style vocals for most of the entries, most notably "The Alligator King". The Music for these Shorts was provided by Jazz legend Turk Murphy and his band with Luckey playing Banjo.
