Plot[]
Baddeck, Hank, and Theodore chugged cheerfully through the Bigg City Port. They were going to help Guysborough with an important job at the garbage corporation. Despite the smell, they like working at the garbage corporation because of the clever way the empty barges are lifted onto land by a platform attached to a crane and is loaded and put back in the water, but they are always careful. Guysborough doesn't like working at the garbage corporation, as he is always impatient to get back to his shed, which makes him careless and usually gets him into trouble. Baddeck hoped Guysborough would stay out of trouble, but he was already in a hurry. He rudely told them to collect their garbage and be quick about it. Hank and Theodore hated Guysborough telling them what to do. Baddeck told them that he just wants to get back to the warmth and comfort of his shed.
Guysborough wanted them to work faster. He told them that they were as slow as snails. Baddeck and Hank said that they always follow the rules and know that they can't load more than four barges on the platform at a time. Guysborough then told them to work faster.
Later that day, Guysborough was working on the platform and decided to show how fast a boat can work. He pushed some barges into each other and soon he had his four barges. Baddeck warned him that the barges would pay him back, as barges don't like to be pushed. Guysborough said he can handle barges.
The trio could see Guysborough wasn't going to listen, so they left with their barges full of garbage. Guysborough was so impatient that he became even more careless. He said he would show them, but he was asking for trouble. And he got it, because he hadn't noticed that he was on the platform. Suddenly, he was being lifted up on the platform. Baddeck returned to see him being pulled up on the platform. Baddeck said he tried to warn him, and that he never listens. When Guysborough got to the top, the chain pulling the platform couldn't hold the weight, and it suddenly snapped, causing Guysborough to land in a muddy pond. He felt foolish, and very wet.
Later, when Captain Star arrived, he spoke severely to Guysborough. He told him that his impatience had caused a lot of trouble and that he owed Baddeck, Hank, and Theodore an apology. He then said sorry to the trio. Captain Star told Guysborough that once he was repaired, he would work in the garbage corporation until he learned to be patient and careful.
