Official Album Cover Art

Moonlight City is the fourth studio album by alternative rock band, Dynasty. The album was released on March 17 2017. Collaborations for the album include Kanye West, Daft Punk, The Weeknd, Hozier, Gorillaz, Ariana Grande, Noel Gallagher, Ellie Goulding, Gary Barlow, and Sing actors Taron Egerton and Scarlett Johansson.

A musical film directed by Marc Forster comprising of all 21 tracks and several additional tracks that weren't included in the album, including a cover of Radiohead's Exit Music To A Film, was filmed in late 2016 and the new tracks will include collaborations from Eminem, Chris Martin, David Guetta, Avicii, and Migos. It will air on HBO on May 6 2017.

The first single to the album, "Moonlight City" (which will be track #8 on the album), was released on November 18 2016 to promote the 2016 film Sing, which will be released in theaters on December 21 2016. The song will also be on the movie's soundtrack album. A lyric video was released on November 23 2016 featuring footage from the movie. The music video was released on December 9 2016. There are 2 versions of the music video: one of the band performing at a Las Vegas club while it also shows footage filmed in the video for the upcoming Moonlight City musical film, and the other showing the same thing, but the Moonlight City musical film footage is replaced with footage from the movie Sing.

Scott Adams announced in December that one of the songs will be a tribute to late singer Christina Grimmie. In Jnauary 2017, that song was revealed to be "The Island", which will be the last track on the album.
