Narrator: "It was summertime in Ponyville.

Big Macintosh pulled the express buffaloes. It was very busy, but Big Mac loved the hustle and bustle.

Filthy Rich hauled wagons in the forest. He loved the peace and quiet. But he didn't see many people. Sometimes working in the forest can be very lonely.

Later, Filthy Rich pulled into the town hall. He was delighted to see all his passengers. But Big Mac was not delighted to see Filthy Rich."

Big Macintosh: "Keep your smelly freight away from my passengers!"

Narrator: "Grumbled Big Mac."

Filthy Rich: "But it's only logs."

Narrator: "Chuffed Filthy Rich."

Big Macintosh: "Passengers and freight do not mix!"

Narrator: "Huffed Big Mac, and he walked away. Filthy Rich watched the express leave the building."

Filthy Rich: "I'd like to pull passengers."

Narrator: "Sighed Filthy Rich."

Filthy Rich: "Just for a change."

Narrator: "Filthy Rich stopped at the water fountain on the edge of the forest. Children were standing by one of the trees."

Filthy Rich: "What are those children doing?"

Narrator: "Filthy Rich asked Spike."

Spike: "That's the old Everfree Wishing Tree."

Narrator: "Said Spike."

Spike: "They must be making a wish."

Filthy Rich: "A wishing tree?"

Narrator: "Gasped Filthy Rich."

Filthy Rich: "How wonderful! Do you think it could make my wish come true?"

Narrator: "Asked Filthy Rich."

Spike: "It might."

Narrator: "Said Spike, and he puffed away. Filthy Rich rolled up to the wishing tree. He took a deep breath, and made a wish as hard as he could."

Filthy Rich: "I wish... I wish I could pull the express instead of Big Mac."

Narrator: "He said.

That evening, Hoity Toity came to see Filthy Rich."

Hoity Toity: "Tomorrow, you will pull the express."

Narrator: "He said."

Filthy Rich: "Thank you, sir!"

Narrator: "Said Filthy Rich happily. His wish had come true.

The next morning, Filthy Rich chuffed cheerfully into the town hall. When his passengers were on board, Filthy Rich whistled, and pulled out of the building. But Filthy Rich puffed to quickly."

Filthy Rich's Driver: "Go gently!"

Narrator: "Called his driver."

Filthy Rich's Driver: "You can bump freight, but you can't bump passengers."

Filthy Rich: "Sorry!"

Narrator: "Puffed Filthy Rich.

Filthy Rich puffed proudly through the countryside."

Filthy Rich: "Pulling passengers is a grand job!"

Narrator: "He said.

Big Macintosh was in the hospital. His back was being bandaged. But Big Mac felt lonely. He was missing his passengers.

The passengers were missing Big Macintosh too. They were having the bounciest, bumpiest ride they had ever had.

When Filthy Rich got back to the library, Hoity Toity was waiting for him."

Hoity Toity: "They have been complaints."

Narrator: "He said sternly."

Hoity Toity: "Passengers are not like logs. You must be gentle."

Filthy Rich: "Yes, sir."

Narrator: "Said Filthy Rich sadly. Being gentle was very difficult. Then Filthy Rich saw Big Mac. He was looking miserable."

Filthy Rich: "My wish has made Big Mac go to the hospital!"

Narrator: "Gasped Filthy Rich. This made Filthy Rich feel very bad.

The next day, Filthy Rich had to collect the dining trailer. He tried his best to be gentle. But he shunted the dining trailer so hard, everything flew into the air. They were more complaints than ever. Filthy Rich didn't want to pull passengers anymore. He wanted to wish everything back to normal.

But when he arrived at the forest, Filthy Rich couldn't remember which tree was the wishing tree."

Filthy Rich: "Oh, no!"

Narrator: "Cried Filthy Rich."

Filthy Rich: "Which one could it be?"

Narrator: "Filthy Rich didn't know. So he decided to wish on all the trees."

Filthy Rich: "I wish I could pull freight again."

Narrator: "He puffed. Then he moved to the next tree, and he wished again."

Filthy Rich: "I wish I could pull freight again."

Narrator: "Hoity Toity arrived with Spike."

Hoity Toity: "What are you doing, Filthy Rich?"

Narrator: "Asked Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "You are causing confusion and delay!"

Narrator: "Filthy Rich told him all about the wishing tree."

Hoity Toity: "Wishing trees don't run towns!"

Narrator: "Said Hoity Toity."

Hoity Toity: "That's my job! Big Mac just needed some healing, he'll be back tomorrow."

Narrator: "Filthy Rich was delighted.

The next day, Big Macintosh came back to work. He looked as good as new. The passengers were so pleased to see him. They cheered, and cheered, and cheered. Big Mac beamed happily for the rest of the day.

Filthy Rich was happy to be back in the peace and quiet of the forest. At the end of the day, he stopped near the wishing tree. And even Hoity Toity had told him trees don't run towns, Filthy Rich wished he would never have to pull passengers ever, ever again, just in case."
