Narrator: "In Ponyville, all the animals are proud of their town. They want everyone to know how proudly they puff, how hard they huff and how cheerfully they chuff.

One morning, the animals were at the library. Their bodies were bubbling. They were ready for work. Then Hoity Toity arrived."

Spike: "Good morning, sir."

Hoity Toity: "Good morning."

Narrator: "Hoity Toity was holding a big book."

Hoity Toity: "I have something to show you all. It is a book called Great Towns. Inside, there are lots of photographs of really useful mainland animals."

Narrator: "The animals whistled with wonder."

Hoity Toity: "Today, a photographer is coming to Ponyville. He will take photographs of you all. The photographs will go into Ponyville's very own Great Towns book. You all have jobs to do. Puff proudly, and huff you hardest, and don't delay. The photographer must leave by teatime."

Narrator: "The animals were very excited."

Pipsqueak: "I hope the photographer will take some photographs of me delivering the mail."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "I will be photographed because I am the brightest donkey in the town."

Spike: "And I will be photograph because I am the number 1 dragon."

Big Macintosh: "No, Spike. I will be photographed more than you because I am Big Macintosh. I'm fastest and best, and pull the express!"

Narrator: "And Big Mac puffed grandly away. Spike was cross."

Spike: "Big Mac won't be photographed more than me! I'll make sure of that. But first, I must hurry to start my jobs at Farmer Trotter's farm."

Narrator: "And Spike puffed quickly away.

Spike walked along the path. The pigs from the farm snorted and snuffled. Suddenly, Spike saw Pipsqueak ahead. And he saw the photographer. Spike's body fizzed."

Spike: "The photographer is waiting to take a photograph of Pipsqueak. If I hurry, I can be in Pipsqueak's photograph."

Narrator: "Spike pumped his legs and raced up to Pipsqueak just as the camera flashed."

Pipsqueak: "Huh?"

Spike: "Bye, Pipsqueak. Flash Bang Wallop!"

Narrator: "Pipsqueak was so surprised, he bashed and crashed into a siding..."

Pipsqueak: "Whoa!"

Narrator: "And straight into a heap of coal."

Pipsqueak: "Flatten my head!"

Narrator: "But Spike didn't know. He was too busy feeling pleased with himself.

Spike puffed past the station towards Farmer Trotter's farm. Big Mac thundered by with the express. Spike smiled."

Spike: "I'm sure Big Mac hasn't been in a photograph yet. I must find the photographer again."

Narrator: "Further down the path, Spike found the photographer. He was waiting to take a photograph of Cranky."

Spike: "If I hurry, I can be in Cranky's photograph."

Narrator: "Spike's feet stomped. He raced up to Cranky just as the camera went "flash"."

Spike: "Bye, Cranky! Flash Bang Wallop!"

Narrator: "Cranky was so surprised, he hit the buffers, and his feet bounced off the path."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Rattle my legs!"

Narrator: "But Spike didn't know. He was too busy feeling pleased with himself.

Spike chuffed up to Farmer Trotter's farm with the pigs. Big Mac raced by."

Big Macintosh: "I've been in two magnificent photographs!"

Narrator: "Spike's body bubbled."

Spike: "I must find the photographer. If I hurry, I will be in more photographs than Big Mac."

Narrator: "So Spike chuffed slowly back towards the library. He was looking for the photographer. Then he found him. The photographer was waiting to take a photograph of Filthy Rich. Filthy Rich was about to go under a bridge."

Spike: "If I hurry, I can be in Filthy Rich's photograph."

Narrator: "Spike rattled and raced towards the bridge just as Big Mac was huffing in. Spike whistled loud and long."

Filthy Rich: "Bust my hooves, Spike! Steady on!"

Narrator: "The photographer was so surprised, he dropped his camera."

Photographer: "Oh no! My camera is smashed! The photographs are ruined!"

Narrator: "Spike gasped."

Spike: "Fire and scales!"

Narrator: "Then, Hoity Toity stepped from Filthy Rich."

Hoity Toity: "Spike! What are you doing? I hear Pipsqueak's mail load is spilled! Cranky hit the buffers with his changelings of flowers! And now the camera is broken."

Spike: "I'm very sorry, sir. I was racing to be in all the photographs. And now, none of us are in any photographs, and it's all my fault."

Photographer: "I have another camera, but it's at the docks. There isn't time to pick it up now."

Narrator: "Spike's head fizzed."

Spike: "Yes, there is, sir. I will race like the wind to bring your camera to you in time."

Narrator: "Spike picked up the camera and pumped his legs.

On the way to the photographer, Spike saw Pipsqueak."

Spike: "I'm very sorry, Pipsqueak. I made you biff into the siding. I have to take this camera to the photographer. Then I will come back and help you."

Narrator: "Then Spike saw Cranky. Cranky was cross."

Spike: "I'm very sorry, Cranky. I made you biff into the buffers. I have to take this camera to the photographer. Then I will come back and help you."

Narrator: "The photographer was delighted to have his camera."

Spike: "Here it is, sir."

Photographer: "Thank you, Spike!"

Spike: "Now I have to go and help my friends, Pipsqueak and Cranky."

Narrator: "Spike's feet stomped. Then Spike saw Shining Armor and Bulk Biceps. Shining Armor was taking Bulk Biceps to the docks."

Spike: "Bulk Biceps, I need your help. Please Shining Armor, may I take Bulk Biceps to rescue Pipsqueak and Cranky?"

Shining Armor: "Of course!"

Bulk Biceps: "Happy to help, Spike!"

Narrator: "So Bulk Biceps followed Spike, and off they raced to rescue Cranky."

Cranky Doodle Donkey: "Thank you, Spike! Thank you, Bulk Biceps!"

Narrator: "Then Spike and Bulk Biceps helped Spike's best friend, Pipsqueak."

Pipsqueak: "Thank you, Spike! Thank you, Bulk Biceps!"

Narrator: "At last, Spike chuffed into the library. It was late. He was tired."

Pipsqueak: "The photographer has gone home now, Spike."

Big Macintosh: "I'm sure I was in more photographs than you, Spike."

Narrator: "Spike smiled."

Spike: "I'm sure you were, Big Mac. I had to help my friends. And that's more important to me than the photographs."

Narrator: "A few days later, Hoity Toity called his animals to the town hall. The photographer was there. He was holding a big book."

Photographer: "This is the book of your town, sir; Ponyville, The Great Town."

Hoity Toity: "Thank you. I hope it is a book of really useful animals."

Narrator: "Then Spike gasped."

Spike: "Bubbling bodies!"

Narrator: "The front cover was a picture of Spike and Bulk Biceps rescuing Pipsqueak. Spike puffed to Pipsqueak."

Spike: "You and me, Pipsqueak. That's the best photograph of all!"
