Flasher Master Swarmer Mate

This is a new type of ammunition for Jan's crossbow (the Flasher Master Bruiser). Inspired by ranced turnips, Jan infused these skull projectiles with preserved insects, ready to burst and attack the target, causing damage and distraction enough to keep a mage away from his spellbook, and everyone, including the insects, away from Jan's turnips.
The skulls are fitted with a special powder that does a little bit of damage and has a chance to stun an opponent (save vs. spells or be stunned for 2 rounds).

Special Ability: Summon Insects on target (save -5 vs. breath to negate) per third level druid spell for 25 seconds.
- THAC0: +1 bonus

- Jan can create 3 of these per day, for free.
- Can be fired by any crossbow.
- Although not mentioned in the description, it seems likely that these are always considered to be of +1 enchantment when determining what they can hit.
- Summon Insects deals 1 damage per 2 seconds, gives a -2 penalty to THAC0 and damage, and causes 50% chance of magic failure.
