Transcript

  • Michael Brandon: Flour Power. It was Halloween night on the land of YTV. The moon shone brightly, and the stars twinkled in the night sky. The children's Halloween party was over. But while the children slept, all the animals were kept very busy. Ash was alone at the library when Steven arrived. He was still in his Halloween costume."
  • Steven: "You are to collect flour from the mill and take it to the bakery."
  • Narrator: "He boomed."
  • Steven: "You must work with Ken. The town needs its morning toast, and Wilhelmina and I need our English muffins."
  • Narrator: "He added sternly."
  • Steven: "So I'll have no mishaps tonight."
  • Narrator: "Ash didn't want to work with Ken, but he wanted to be really useful. When Ash arrived at the station, he couldn't see Ken at all. Ken was up to his old tricks. He rolled up behind Ash and went..."
  • Ken: "BOO!"
  • Ash: "AHHHHHHHH!"
  • Ken: "Trust a silly old trainer to be scared on Halloween!"
  • Narrator: "Ken sneered."
  • Ash: "I'm not a scared trainer!
  • Narrator: "Said Ash firmly."
  • Ken: "We'll see!"
  • Narrator: "Oiled Ken. Ash and Ken headed for the flour mill. Ken teased Ash with every step. When they arrived at the woods, Ken cried,"
  • Ken: "It's the haunted forest!"
  • Narrator: "And he called out,"
  • Ken: "Whooooooooooooo! Ash!"
  • Narrator: "In a spooky voice."
  • Ash: "Stop it!"
  • Narrator: "Said Ash crossly. But the breeze blew and the branches creaked. Ken's teasing made it seem spooky indeed. Then they came to the abandoned mine. The buildings were distorted, and they could hear a banging noise."
  • Ash: "What was that?"
  • Narrator: "Cried Ash.
  • Ken: "Sounds like the ghost looking for a trainer to scare!"
  • Ash: "Well, I'm not scared!"
  • Narrator: "Said Ash. But he wished he felt as brave as he sounded. Ash and Ken had to stop at a red signal. It was next to a twisted old tree. The wind whistled, and Ash heard a strange cry. Suddenly, Ash felt something touch his back."
  • Ken: "Look out!"
  • Narrator: "Cried Ken.
  • Ken: "The ghost is after your scales!"
  • Ash: "Fire and scales!"
  • Narrator: "Gasped Ash, and he let out a frightening whistle."
  • Ken: Scared trainer, scared trainer!"
  • Narrator: "Ken teased. Ash was very cross with Ken. He wanted to pay him back for all his teasing. Ash and Ken arrived at the flour mill. Ash rolled up to collect the flour. Then Ash had an idea."
  • Ash: "We'll see who's a scared trainer."
  • Narrator: "He puffed. Ash biffed the Beedrill out of the way, and rolled up under the chute himself. When Ash puffed out the other side, he was covered from head to toe in pure white flour."
  • Ash: "Ooooooooh!"
  • Narrator: "He said spookley."
  • Ken: "It's a ghost!"
  • Narrator: "Cried Ken.
  • Ken: "It's come to get me!"
  • Ash: "Stop!"
  • Narrator: "Cried Ash.
  • Ash: "It's just me!"
  • Narrator: "But Ken was nowhere to be seen. After Ken had gone, the mill seemed very quietly. But there was still work to do."
  • Ash: "The town needs its bread."
  • Narrator: "Thought Ash.
  • Ash: And Steven needs his English muffins."
  • Narrator: "Ash arranged the Beedrill into one long line, and he set off for the bakery all alone. As Ash arrived at the twisty tree, he wish he could go faster. But it was a very long line, and he had to go slowly. Because he was going so slowly, Ash could see that the tree wasn't spooky at all."
  • Ash: "It was just a tree."
  • Narrator: "He gasped."
  • Ash: "And the strange cry was just an owl."
  • Narrator: "Ash was relieved. Ash chuged towards the abandoned mines, he could still hear the spooky banging. He looked to his left, and then to his right, and he saw what was making the noise."
  • Ash: "It's just an old door."
  • Narrator: "He gasped."
  • Ash: "The wind is making it crash."
  • Narrator: "Finally, Ash reached the old woods. The breeze still blew, and the branches creaked. Ash took a big brave puff. But without Ken's teasing, Ash could see that the haunted forest was actually Terry's favorite forest."
  • Ash: "It's not scary at all."
  • Narrator: "Cried Ash. Ash arrived at the bakery. He was tired, but happy."
  • Ken: "OH! It's the ghost, sir!"
  • Narrator: "Ken told Steven.
  • Ken: "And it's come to get me!"
  • Steven: "That's not a ghost!"
  • Narrator: "Boomed Steven.
  • Steven: That's Ash! He's a really useful trainer! Ash, you have done a splendid job."
  • Narrator: "Steven said.
  • Steven: "You deserve an extra special bath."
  • Ash: "Thank you, sir!"
  • Narrator: "Puffed Ash proudly. And while Steven waited for the first batch of English muffins, Ash looked forward to telling his friends his Ken Halloween story."
