The Food and Agricultural organization is founded by the U.N. and its main purpose is to lead international efforts to defeat hunger all over the world. This organizations acts as an unbiased group that joins countries together for dealing with this problem. FAO also helps give information to countries in need as well as helping developing countries modernize, improve agriculture, fishing, and forestry. There motto Fiat Panis is Latin for "let there be bread". So far as of August 2008, FAO has 191 member states as well as European community and Faroe islands as associate members.
