Narrator: "If you should visit a place that has a lake in the woods and a beautiful waterfall, then you may also find two little toons called Yakko and Wakko. The toons know everybody and everybody knows them.
There are two more toons; Mr. Plotz and Li'l Sneezer.
One Day, King Acorn sent Sonic to the works to be mended.
A big surprise awaited Sonic.
Sonic: "It's Yakko! What's he doing here?"
Narrator: "Yakko was pleased to see Sonic."
Yakko: "I've been sent here for a rest."
Narrator: "He sighed."
Yakko: "I was put in the shed so I could see verything and not be lonely, but I do miss Wakko; He's going to be mended. I wish I could be mended, too, and take swans again."
Narrator: "Just then, some animators arrived."
An Animator: "We're going to take you to the works now, Sonic. Come along."
Sonic: "Good-bye Yakko. Your line's a lovely line."
Yakko: "Oh, it is, it is. You've cheered me up, Sonic. Good-bye."
Narrator: "Meanwhile, Mr. Plotz was having trouble with some swans. He tried to be kind, but the swans didn't trust him; they were awkward and rude.
There was worse to come. Some careless sheep had strayed onto the line."
Perfecto Prep Swans: "He's bumped us!"
Narrator: "Screamed the swans."
Perfecto Prep Swans: "Let's get back at him!"
Narrator: "They surged into Mr. Plotz and pushed him aside.
No one was hurt, but Mr. Plotz limped sadly to the shed."
Mr. Plotz's Animator: "No more work for you today."
Narrator: "Said his animator."
Mr. Plotz's Animator: "How are we going to lead the swans without a toon?"
Yakko: "What about me, sir?"
Mr. Plotz's Animator: "Yakko! Can you do it?"
Yakko: "I'll try."
Narrator: "Said the old toon.
The swans stood at the platform."
Yakko: "I'm ashamed of you."
Narrator: "Scolded Yakko."
Yakko: "You might have hurt your passengers!"
Narrator: "The swans quivered.
Perfecto Prep Swans: "We're sorry, Yakko."
Narrator: "The animator blew the whistle, and the journey began.
Yakko remembered all the gates and styles where he had to stop.
The sun shone, the ground was dry."
Yakko: "This is lovely!"
Narrator: "Sang Yakko.
Presently, the line grew steep. Yakko felt short of breath."
Yakko's Animator: "Take your time."
Narrator: "Soothed his animator."
Yakko: "It'll be better downhill."
Narrator: "Yakko said to himself.
But it wasn't. His structure was weak, and the ground jarred his feet.
At last, a leg gave way."
Yakko: "I feel all crooked!"
Narrator: "Cried Yakko."
Yakko's Animator: "Well need a bus now for our passengers."
Narrator: "Sighed his animator."
Narrator: "Pleaded Yakko."
Yakko: "I'll get them to the station or burst!"
Narrator: "Plucky was waiting at the platform. Clanging and clanking, Yakko steamed in."
Yakko: "I'll do it, I'll do it! I've done it!"
Narrator: "Plucky collected his passengers and respecively puffed away.
Everyone was pleased with Yakko, but he was still worried."
Yakko: "Old toons can't lead swans like the young ones can."
Yakko's Animator: "They can if they're mended, old faithful."
Narrator: "Smiled his animator."
Yakko's Animator: "And that's what's going to happen to you, you deserve it!"
