Ever since the internet has become popular an ever increasing number of math books & lecture notes has become available online for free. The purpose of this wiki is to collect, categorize and review them and so providing people a central gateway and overview to free math resources. For now the entry site of the portal basically lists and categorizes all resources in tables and each table entry contains a link to site that contains a detailed content description and reviews. The content description can be edited and improved by everybody. The reviews however should only be changed by its original author, however everybody can add his own review. The idea is to provide something similar to movie or book reviews you might find at sites like Internet Movie Database or Amazon. While the original idea is to list and review free books and lecture notes, it is also possible to list and review other free math resources like online tutorials, educational Software, CDs, videos, websites, portals, chatrooms. However the requirement is that they are available for free, that means paysites, sites requiring a membership fee, content that is commercially sold only and similar things should not be listed here (and will be deleted).
