Goose Nest Basketball Association (GNBA) is the premier fantasy basketball league on GooseNest.net. Created in the fall of 2002 by resident basketball junkie Mal. It was approved by the GNFSHQ without hesitation. The current champion is the Chicago Blockers owned by Goose.

The 2007-2008 season will be the 6th season tying the GNFFL for the longest run fantasy sport on the Goose Nest.

Settings

The GNBA uses Yahoo Fantasy Basketball for it's scoring, rosters, schedules. The draft is held at GooseNest.net via a 'post draft' the time limit is 12 hours per pick. The rosters are set as : PG, SG, G, PF, SF, F, C, C, Util, Util, Bn, Bn, Bn, Bn.

2002 - 2003 [Inagural Season]

GNBA debuted at Sports.Ws. Unfortunetly due to the way Sports.ws would run things on their website many teams didn't like it and would throw in the towel mid way through through the season. KleShreen's Grand Rapid Rampage would defeat Cmo Slammers in the 2003 GNBA Finals to capture The Naismith Trophy.

2003 - 2004

Despite the previous season's champion no longer in the league and the problems of sports.ws the GNBA would return in full force this time with Yahoo! Fantasy Basketball as the official home for stats, schedules and the like for GNBA. The regular season was won by Knut's S.Brown.4.Prez with a 170-117-7 record edging out Cmo Slammers for the regular season title by 2 games. However the post-season would prove to be to tough for S.Brown.4.Prez as they would lose to the 5th seeded Spirits of Scranton in the semifinals. #2 Cmo Slammers would defeat #5 Spirts of Scranton to capture the GNBA Championship (Trophy Name) en route to the title the Slammers defeated #6 Chicago in the semifinals after having a first round bye, then defeating #5 Scranton in the GNBA Finals.
