04. If you are like me, you are often amazed and jealous when game designers make Hollywood celbrities don skin tight suits and ping pong balls to accurately get their likenesses into a game. I wanna wear the suit...I wanna have an expressionless me running around killing people! And while the likelihood of that happening is rare, unfortunately the good folks over at Peter Molyneaux's Lionhead Studio want to make it at least a little more realistic...just sans the balls...Turns out they are holding a contest where you submit pictures of yourself or others in Rennaisancey style and you could end up in one of many picture frames throughout Albion. Hit up their website for more details.--YJ

06. Remember about six weeks ago when Motley Crue and Rock Band partnered to release a new single premiering first in the game before anywhere else? Come to find out their song 'Saints of Los Angeles' was downloaded over 47,000 times on the Xbox version alone, beating out iTunes and Amazon, which were dinged only 10,000 times for the single.

Also in Guitar Hero News an Activision financial filing revealed the existence of Guitar Hero: Metallica. The game is slated to be released before the end of fiscal year 2009, which means sometime between today and March 31, isn't coming out today. No other details are available, but you can't help but wonder if GH: Metallica will be the first multi-instrumental expansion pack, after Guitar Hero World Tour. I suspect very strongly that this is the case. --YJ

08. Ubisoft's Ubidays 2008 was just late last wee and aside from announcing they have dumptrucks full of money to spend on Mew IP's, Movie franchising and merchandising tie-in's, they found time to talk about some new games coming down the pipe. the UbiDays press event was held in Paris, where Ubisoft showed off new details and videos for all of their upcoming titles. Starting May 30 and lasting for the next five days, UbiDays will also be taking over the Home Beta's "media and events" space and similarly dedicate it to Ubisoft's upcoming games, including: The Next Prince of Persia, Tom Clancy's EndWar, Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X., FarCry 2, Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, Shaun White Snowboarding, and Namco's Soul Calibur IV (which Ubisoft is publishing in Europe) and my personal favorite Beyond Good and Evil 2 which Ubisoft is claiming will have a "broader appeal" and be more "accessible." --YJ

Last Week's PS3:

This Weds 360: Aces of the Galaxy and RooGoo will be available this Wednesday for 800 points each. Aces of the Galaxy™, is a non-stop, old-school arcade thrill-ride...sure...and Roogoo updates the square peg in a round hole premise to a whole new level. Help the Roogoo defeat their enemies, the evil Meemoo, in Roogoo, a new and innovative action-based puzzler.

Monday's Wii VC/WW:

Rock Band: This week is the "oppisite ends of the music spectrum " track packs. First Jimmy Buffet with "Cheeseburger in Paradise," "Volcano," and the beach bar standard "Margaritaville. New master recordings. Disturbed's trio of songs will be far less familiar to fans of the band. That's because the songs are from the group's new album--Indestructible--which will hit alongside the track pack next week. Available for $.99 (80 Microsoft points) individually or $2.99 (240 Microsoft points) for the lot, Disturbed will be offering up master tracks for "Indestructible," "Inside the Fire," and "Perfect Insanity." --YJ
