Uses and Meaning

Goive is one of the most popular Winchester College Notions.

It is used as mainly as a verb or interjection, mainly meaning "Who cares?". When used as a noun or adjective, it is comparable to the English slang word "doss".

"I goive." (I don't care)
"It's a goive." (It doesn't matter)
"We're having a goive lesson." (We are having a doss lesson)

Its origin is unknown, although it does not appear in the Notions Booklet, and so can be assumed to be realtively new.
