Kushner DSRCT Pediatric Protocol
A. First Line Chemotherapy
- Cycle - High dose Cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan); Vincristine; Doxorubicin
- Cycle - High dose Cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan); Vincristine; Doxorubicin
- Cycle - High dose Cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan); Vincristine; Doxorubicin
- Cycle - High dose Cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan) and Topotecan
- Cycle - High dose Cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan) and Topotecan
- Cycle - High dose Cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan); Vincristine; Doxorubicin
- Mesna all cycles
B. Stem Cell Harvest
- Collected after Cycle 2 or Cycle 3
C. Surgery
- After Cycle 3 - Aggressive surgical debulking/resection
- Second surgery as warranted
D. Stem Cell Rescue
- After surgery recovery and completion of chemo cycles -Myeloblative chemo which may include: Thiotepa, Topotecan, Carboplatin followed with stem cell rescue.
E. Radiation
- XRT 3000cGy with boost to 4500 cGy in areas at high risk
