CRYSTAL VISION - ViViD HD-20 - a variable video delay line designed for engineers who need to match any long delays in their system. Not only does this unusual product provide an exceptionally long delay with up to 21 seconds in HD and 119 seconds in SD, it also saves space by allowing 12 video delay modules to fit in just 2U of rack space.
ViViD HD-20 is ideal for use as part of a profanity delay system, or to match MPEG encoders and decoders, MPEG-compressed HD radio links or virtual studio graphics that require more than half a second of HD delay. The output timing is based on the video input and is adjustable in seconds, frames, lines and pixels for true flexibility. ViViD HD-20 has a minimum delay of 12us in High Definition and 46us in Standard Definition.
ViViD HD-20 delays not just the active picture but the entire video stream with embedded audio and ancillary data staying with the associated video, allowing it to be used without restrictions in embedded areas. 16 presets can be assigned and recalled through GPIs, therefore saving the broadcast engineer time by allowing different delay values to be recalled automatically by the studio control system.

Panasonic's AV-HS300 is a portable HD/SD switcher intended for live production of sports and entertainment events, and for use in any venue, such as a theatre, lecture hall, or college auditorium, in which high-quality images require mixing through a compact video switcher.
This live switching system accepts five video inputs, HD-SDI or SDI, with a DVI input and optional HD analogue component inputs. It is capable of switching 1080/59.94i, 1080/50i, 720/59.94p, 720/50p, 480/59.94i, and 576/50i PAL signals, allowing users to work with a broad range of video sources including signals from PCs. An integrated 10-bit six-channel frame synchronizer stabilises output images. The AV-HS300 can be deployed with Ethernet or RS-422 control.

Matrix Switch HD/SDI serial digital switching systems employ the newest digital video automatic cable equalization and re-clocking technology. The re-reclockers can be set to a fixed rate, an Auto Rate Detect algorithm, to pass any non-standard data rate without re-clocking or to only pass standard rates.
There are currently eight models to choose from. The MSHD-44 includes a built in local control panel.
All MSC HD/SDI Switchers include a flexible control system. The Ethernet port can be used in three ways: A built in web page; to network MSC remote control panels; and or using the same syntax as the RS232 port, use Ethernet in place of or along with RS232 control.
The compact design and rugged all steel construction of these systems make them ideal for mobile units and field case applications. The MSHD-44 is 1RU high but only six inches wide. It includes removable rack mounting adapters which allow it to either be rack mounted or used in a 'table top' configuration.
Except for the MSHD-44 which uses an external 90-240VAC switching power supply, all of the other systems have internal 90-240VAC universal input power supplies.
Longevity is assured by the use of cooling fans in all units except the MSHD-44. In most environments these MSC HD/SDI switchers could be operated without a fan. The fan ensures long life and reliable operation in the most harsh environments.
The optional analog or digital audio systems are equally rugged and compact. Placing the audio in a separate frame allows the audio frame to be installed up to fifty feet from the main video frame.

The 1:8x4 contains 4 separate 1:8 digital wide band distribution amplifiers. The data rates supported by the reclock'ers are 143, 177, 270, 360, 540, 1483.5, 1485 Mbps and 3Gbps. These units are well suited for all digital Broadcast and Telecom distribution systems. Both units have Automatic Cable Equalizer supporting up to 300m (SDI) cable, autodetect reclock'ers supporting all known digital broadcast standards and proper Cable Drivers on the outputs. These distribution units have an Ethernet connection (SNMP/HTTP) where input signal type as well as loss of signal or unrecognizable signals are reported for each input.
