Narrator: "Happy was enjoying his life on Disneyland, but he still had a lot to learn."

Walt Disney: You're a special mixed-traffic dwarf."

Narrator: "Said Walt Disney."

Walt Disney: "You can take Forest Animals or Monkeys quite easily, but you must learn by your mistakes."

Narrator: "Happy knew what Walt Disney meant. He could well remember that dreadful accident on his first day."

Sneezy: "Be careful with the animals, Happy."

Narrator: "Said Sneezy."

Sneezy: "They don't like being bumped."

Narrator: "Everyone came to admire Happy."

Happy: "I'm a really splendid dwarf."

Narrator: "He thought, and suddenly danced up a sweat. A shower of sweat fell on Walt Disney's smart new hat.

Suddenly, the Guard blew his whistle, and Happy thought they had better go."

Happy: "Go on! Go on!"

Narrator: "He puffed to Sneezy."

Sneezy: "Don't push! Don't push!"

Narrator: "Replied Sneezy. The animals were grumbling too."

Froest Animals: "Don't go so fast! Don't go so fast!"

Narrator: "But Happy didn't listen.

When at last, they reached the next station, two animals were beyond the platform. They had to go back to drop off their passengers. But no one seemed to know about Walt Disney's new hat, so Happy felt happier.

Presently, they came to the station, where Doc was waiting with his lion cubs."

Doc: "Hello, Happy."

Narrator: "Said Doc."

Doc: "That's right.

Oh, that's my guard's whistle. I must go. I don't know what Walt Disney would do without me to run this land."

Narrator: "And he puffed off importantly.

Sneezy and Happy passed the field where Happy had had his accident. The fence was mended and the cows were back again.

They ended their journey, and rested before setting off for home. Happy was till wondering what Walt Disney would have to say about his new hat.

Next morning, he spoke severely to Happy."

Walt Disney: "If you can't behave, I shall take away your orange shirt, and have you wear a green one."

Narrator: "Happy didn't like that at all.

He was very rough with the grumbling animals as he brought them to the platform."

Happy: "Don't talk! Come on!"

Narrator: "He called to them."

Happy: "Grumpy never has to fetch his own animals,"

Narrator: "He huffed to himself."

Happy: "And he only wears red."

Narrator: "To make Happy even more cross, this time no one came near him."

Happy: "I'll show them."

Narrator: "He thought.

Happy: "They think Grumpy is the only dwarf who can take animals.

Hurry, hurry, hurry!"

Narrator: "Puffed Happy."

Forest Animals: "You're going too fast! You're going too fast!"

Narrator: "Replied the animals. Happy laughed and tried to go faster, but the animals wouldn't let him.

Forest Animals: "We're going to stop."

Narrator: "They said."

Forest Animals: "We're going to stop!"

Happy: "What's the matter?"

Narrator: "Happy asked his driver."

Happy's Driver: "The animals are hard on. Scratch on the leg, most likely. You've banged the animals enough to make a scratch in anything.

The Guard: "How shall we mend it?"

Narrator: "Said the guard."

Happy's Driver: "We'll do it with newspaper and a leather bootlace."

Narrator: "Replied the driver."

The Guard: "Well, where is the bootlace coming from?"

Narrator: "Asked the guard."

Happy's Driver: "Ask the passengers."

Narrator: "Said the driver."

Th Guard: "You have leather bootlace there, I see, sir."

Narrator: "Said the guard to George Darling, a smarty dressed man."

The Guard: "Please give it to me."

George Darling: "I won't."

Narrator: "Said Mr. Darling."

The Guard: "Then,"

Narrator: "Said the guard,"

The Guard: "I'm afraid we'll all have to stay where we are."

Narrator: "The passengers all said what a bad land it was. Then they told George how bad he was instead. Everyone was very cross.

At last, he handed his laces over.

The driver tied a pad of newspaper tightly around the scratch in the leg, and Happy was able to take the animals.

But he was a sadder and wiser Happy, and took care never to bump animals again."
