Transcript

  • (We open this episode with the Thomas Season 7 intro)
  • (After that, we begin the character introduction)
  • Alec Baldwin: It's Thomas: the number one blue engine. Percy is a really useful engine. James is a magnificent engine. Gordon is the most fastest engine on the Island of Sodor. Henry is long and fast. Here's Edward always here to help. Toby is a different engine: he's a tram. Don't forget Sir Topham Hatt. He's in charge of the railway.
  • (A passing by sequence occurs and we begin Harvey To The Rescue)
  • Alec Baldwin: The engines on Sir Topham Hatt's Railway love brendam docks. There's always lots of work to keep them busy. And they enjoyed seeing new arrivals onto the Island of Sodor. An exciting new arrival was an engine Cranky the Crane was unloading. It was heavy.
  • Cranky: This makes my chain ache.
  • Alec Baldwin: Groaned Cranky.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: This is Harvey the Crane Engine.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sir Topham Hatt said proudly. The other engines thought Harvey look strange. Harvey was happy to be on the ground. He didn't like dangling from Cranky's arm at all.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: These gentlemen are The Railway Board.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sir Topham Hatt said.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Tomorrow, Harvey will give them a demonstration. If it goes well, he will join the railway.
  • Percy: What's a Dimurstation.
  • Thomas: Demonstration.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Thomas.
  • Thomas: Is when you show off what you can do.
  • Bertie: Like when Thomas and i have a race.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Bertie.
  • Bertie: Vroom! Vroom!
  • Alec Baldwin: That evening, Thomas had just returned from a hard day's work. He saw Harvey parked near the sheds. Harvey could hear the other engines talking about him. This made him sad.
  • Henry: Harvey's different.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Henry.
  • Edward: He doesn't even look like an engine.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Edward.
  • Gordon: Surely Sir Topham Hatt won't let him pull coaches.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sniffed Gordon.
  • James: He's just Cranky On Wheels.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said James.
  • Percy: He's not taking my mail.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Percy. Thomas felt sorry for Harvey.
  • Thomas: Don't worry. Sometimes it takes time to make new friends.
  • Alec Baldwin: Harvey wasn't sure he wanted to stay when no one wanted him. The next morning, Sir Topham Hatt sent the engines off to a useful day's work.
  • Harvey: Maybe might coming here wasn't a good idea, sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Harvey chuffed sadly.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Nonsene.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Sir Topham Hatt.
  • Harvey: But the engines don't like me. I'm too different.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Different is what makes you special.
  • Alec Baldwin: And that made Harvey feel better. Out on the branch line, Percy was having trouble with the trucks.
  • Trucks: Faster we go, faster we go. Pull him along, don't let him slow.
  • Percy: Help!
  • Alec Baldwin: Cried Percy. His driver applied the brakes, but it was too late. He went off the rails at Bulgy's bridge. Luckily, no one was hurt. Bertie arrived and was pleased Percy was all right. But he was also very cross.
  • Bertie: You blocked the road!
  • Alec Baldwin: Bertie snapped. He was worried he wouldn't get the gentlemen of the railway board to the demonstration on time. When Sir Topham Hatt heard the news, he went straight to Harvey.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: I need you to rescue one of my engines.
  • Harvey: I'll do my best, sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Harvey said bravely and he set off immediately. Harvey soon arrived and set to work.
  • (Harvey lifts Percy back on the rails)
  • Alec Baldwin: In no time, Percy was back on the tracks. The gentlemen of the railway board were very impressed.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: That was the demonstration of all. The gentlemen of the railway board have decided you shall join the railway.
  • Harvey: Oh, thank you, sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Harvey said proudly. That night, Harvey heard the engines talking again. This time it was different.
  • Gordon: Well done, Harvey.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Gordon.
  • James: Very useful.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said James.
  • Percy: You can take my mail.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Percy.
  • Thomas: You see.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Thomas.
  • Thomas: Different can be good.
  • Alec Baldwin: All the engines agreed.
  • Engines: Welcome to the Sodor Railway!
  • Alec Baldwin: They called. Harvey smiled happily.
  • (Another passing by sequence occurs and we begin It's Great To Be An Engine)
  • Children: (singing) Oh yes, it's great To be an engine And go steaming along, Puff puff puffing along, Peep peep peeping along. All the people waving As you speed along. Puff puff puffing along All day. We're all so proud to be Famous engines And travel through the countryside. We're always brave when There are hills to climb. No mountain is too high! Oh yes it's great To be an engine As you're steaming along. Puff puff puffing along, Peep peep peeping along. Fly along the rails as Your wheels go round Whiz whiz whizzing around All day. It doesn't matter Come rain or shine. There are always things For us to do. And in the cold cold Wintertime, We're ready. When you light the fire And stoke the boiler And we'll be there for you! Oh yes it's great To be an engine As you're steaming along. Puff puff puffing along, Peep peep peeping along. Feel the wind around you As you push along. Puff puff puffing along All day.
  • Girl: Just think - how wonderful it would be. To live on the magical Island of Sodor, Helping Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends All day long, It would be like a dream come true. If only I could be an engine too...
  • Children: (singing) Oh yes it's great To be an engine As you're steaming along. Puff puff puffing along, Peep peep peeping along. Fly along the rails as your Wheels go round. Whiz whiz whizzing around All day. Oh yes it's great To be an engine And go steaming along. Puff puff puffing along, Peep peep peeping along. All the people waving As you speed along. Puff puff puffing along, Peep peep peeping and Puff puff puffing Steam around all day!
  • (Thomas' whistle toots)
  • (Another passing by sequence occurs and we begin A Bad Day For Harold)
  • Alec Baldwin: Harold the Helicopter loves flying up in a bright blue sky, over the Island of Sodor, he looks out for anyone in distress. Sometimes he delivers the mail. This made Percy very cross.
  • Harold: The mail run is done. Is there anymore? I can deliver it for you in a jiff. That's what friends are for.
  • Percy: Delivering the mail is an engine's job.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Percy grumpily. Percy has many jobs but carrying the mail is his favorite. It makes him feel really useful. The next morning, Percy was happily pulling the mail train.
  • Percy: Must be on time, must be on time.
  • Alec Baldwin: He chuffed. But up ahead, there was trouble with the signal box. It was broken. The signal engineers did not know how long it would take to fix. Percy had to stop. It's not safe for engines to run without signals but Percy was very upset.
  • Percy: I'm going to be late.
  • Alec Baldwin: He cried.
  • Percy: And it's not even my fault.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sir Topham Hatt was in his office enjoying his toast and marmalade when he heard the news.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Percy is stuck at a broken signal. Then Harold must take the mail.
  • Alec Baldwin: Poor Percy was still waiting and still upset. The last time he was held up the mail was given to Harold.
  • Percy: It made me feel like a really useless engine.
  • Alec Baldwin: He sighed.
  • Driver: Well, the mail must arrive on time.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said his driver. Just then they heard a familiar sound coming from above.
  • Harold: Hello.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Harold.
  • Harold: Sir Topham Hatt says you need my help. That's what friends are for.
  • Percy: Oh, no.
  • Alec Baldwin: Cried Percy. But Sir Topham Hatt had made up his mind. There was nothing Percy could do. Percy's driver helped load the mail bags into Harold's cargo net.
  • Harold's Pilot: Maybe we should take the mail bags a few at a time.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Harold's pilot.
  • Harold's Pilot: They're very heavy.
  • Harold: I have to make too many trips then i'd be as slow as Percy.
  • Alec Baldwin: And so they loaded all the mail into Harold's net at once and the engineer continued to work on the signal. Just as they finished loading a signal engineer cried out.
  • Signal Engineer: It's fixed.
  • Alec Baldwin: He said.
  • Percy: Wait, Harold!
  • Alec Baldwin: Shouted Percy.
  • Percy: I'm ready to go!
  • Alec Baldwin: But it was too late. Harold had already taken off. Percy watched the mail disappear. He was upset. But then they all heard a strange sound.
  • Harold's Pilot: Watch out for those trees, Harold!
  • Alec Baldwin: Cried his pilot.
  • Harold: My net is too heavy!
  • Alec Baldwin: Wailed Harold.
  • Percy: Harold is in trouble!
  • Alec Baldwin: Percy cried.
  • Percy: We must try to help him.
  • (But it was too late. Harold falls into a haystack)
  • (Percy races to Harold's rescue)
  • Percy: Are you all right?
  • Alec Baldwin: Called Percy.
  • Harold: Just get someone to put me out of this haystack!
  • Alec Baldwin: Sputtered Harold and Percy did as fast as he could. The next day, Harold's engine was fixed and he was flying again. Percy was very pleased to see him.
  • Percy: Want to take the mail, Harold?
  • Alec Baldwin: Percy teased.
  • Percy: I'll stand by with the rescue team.
  • Alec Baldwin: All the engines tooted and Harold hovered so low that only Percy could hear.
  • Harold: Thanks for getting to pull me out that haystack, my friend.
  • Alec Baldwin: He said.
  • Percy: That's all right.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Percy.
  • Percy: That's what friends are for.
  • (Another passing by sequence happens and we begin Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover)
  • Children: (singing) Thomas first saw Terence the Tractor plowing in a field one day and he said, "My oh my, you do look funny. Where are your wheels, are your wheels, are your wheels? How ever do you move along? You really do look funny." "Don't be so rude", said Terence the Tractor "I don't have wheels like you Because my caterpillar tracks are so much better. And I can go anywhere, anywhere, anywhere I don't need rails like you. One day I will prove it, show you how I do it Then you will understand... That you don't judge a book by its cover Don't make your mind up too soon Things aren't necessarily Always what they appear to be Don't judge a book by its cover Don't make your mind up too soon Never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never Never judge a book by its cover Sure enough, one winter's day When the snow lay deep and hard Thomas got stuck, he was in trouble And who do you think came along, came along And rescued him that day The snow didn't matter to Terence the Tractor Now Thomas understands... That you don't judge a book by its cover Don't make your mind up too soon Things aren't necessarily Always what they appear to be Don't judge a book by its cover Don't make your mind up too soon Never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never Never judge a book by its cover. Don't judge a book by its cover Don't make your mind up too soon Things aren't necessarily Always what they appear to be. Don't judge a book by its cover Just remember the rule Never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never Never judge a book.... By its cover!
  • (Another passing by sequence occurs and we begin Twin Trouble)
  • Alec Baldwin: Donald and Douglas are Scottish twin engines. They are practical peppery and proud. They nearly always work together. One day, Donald and Douglas were chuffing through the countryside hauling a heavy load. Down the line, Trevor the Traction Engine had been struggling with a big cartload of hay. Crossing the tracks, the cart's wheels have broken off. Then Trevor heard a whistle.
  • Trevor: Oh no!
  • Alec Baldwin: Trevor cried. Donald could see the cart.
  • Donald: Stop!
  • Alec Baldwin: He cried. Donald's driver applied the brakes, but it was too late.
  • (Donald crashes into the cart)
  • Alec Baldwin: Luckily, no one was hurt.
  • Donald: Stop being pushy.
  • Alec Baldwin: Donald snapped.
  • Douglas: Don't call me pushy.
  • Alec Baldwin: Douglas snapped back.
  • Donald: You shouldn't have pushed me into the cart.
  • Alec Baldwin: Huffed Donald.
  • Douglas: You pulled me you mean.
  • Alec Baldwin: Argued Douglas.
  • Donald: Didn't!
  • Douglas: Did!
  • Donald: Did not!
  • Douglas: Did too!
  • Alec Baldwin: Before long the track was cleared and Donald and Douglas were on their way. The twins were so cross they refuse to speak to each other for the rest of the day. The next day, Sir Topham Hatt needed an engine to help Duck at the smelter's yards.
  • Donald: May I go, sir?
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Donald eagerly.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: I only need one engine.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Sir Topham Hatt.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: Not two.
  • Donald: I am only one engine, sir.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Donald.
  • Donald: And I would like to help with Duck.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sir Topham Hatt was surprised but agreed. Thomas was worried.
  • Thomas: Won't you miss one another?
  • Alec Baldwin: He asked.
  • Thomas: I know I missed Annie and Clarabel.
  • Douglas: I'll work better on my own.
  • Alec Baldwin: Sniffed Douglas.
  • Donald: I have work to do.
  • Alec Baldwin: Huffed Donald. At first, Donald enjoyed working with Duck. Then, things started to go wrong.
  • Donald: Did you shunt those freight cars on the other line?
  • Alec Baldwin: Donald asked.
  • Duck: You said you wanted them on the other line.
  • Alec Baldwin: Duck replied.
  • Donald: Not that other line, the other other line.
  • Alec Baldwin: Donald was cross.
  • Donald: Douglas would have known what I've meant.
  • Alec Baldwin: He huffed. Douglas was working on his own. He chuffed dutifully through the beautiful countryside. But Douglas had no one to share it with. Altough he tried not to he was beginning to miss his twin. That night, Douglas' Driver took him to see Donald.
  • Douglas: I was just passing.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Douglas.
  • Donald: Have you come to say you're sorry?
  • Alec Baldwin: Donald sniffed. This made Douglas very cross.
  • Douglas: I've nothing to be sorry for.
  • Alec Baldwin: He said and steamed away in a huff. The next day, Donald was in a bad mood. Duck could see he was getting too close for the buffers.
  • Duck: Look out!
  • Alec Baldwin: Duck shouted, but it was too late.
  • (Donald falls into a pit)
  • Alec Baldwin: Donald's driver was very cross.
  • Donald's Driver: This would've happened if you were working with Douglas.
  • Alec Baldwin: He said. Donald knew he was right and Duck knew he couldn't pull Donald back onto the rails. So he went for help. Douglas was sadly finishing his work as Duck steamed into the depot.
  • Duck: Donald is in trouble.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Duck.
  • Douglas: Donald in trouble?
  • Alec Baldwin: Douglas cried.
  • Douglas: I'm on my way!
  • Alec Baldwin: And he steamed off as fast as he could. Douglas struggled and struggled, he finally pulled his twin gently back on to the tracks. He was relief Donald wasn't hurt.
  • Donald: Thank you.
  • Alec Baldwin: Donald said.
  • Donald: And I'm sorry.
  • Douglas: No, I'm sorry.
  • Alec Baldwin: Said Douglas.
  • Donald: I'm sorry.
  • Alec Baldwin: Insisted Donald.
  • Duck: Don't argue about who's sorry.
  • Alec Baldwin: Chuckled Duck.
  • Duck: Just be glad you're back together.
  • Alec Baldwin: And they were.
